Seem to have gone a bit loopy Russians, the cold war. Catch a grip I am complaing about a board and CE who took over a club in the premiership and managed to turn it into a club in the Championship with few asssets left and submitted us to years of dire football whilst wasting money on Radio Stations, Sir Clive the half wit and employed a manager on average a year and in one notable year three managers. Yes a brilliant strategsit who found time to take people t court as he was called "shabby" Yes he is brill

Peopel can chose to attend or not as is their wish nad do not need to justify their actions to anyone.

As Saints supporters we have had four to five years of misery. In that time the club has declined dramatically on the pitch and financially As the board members run the club then Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde have a high level of responsibility. We are now in a much weakened situation and without massive inverstment would be unable to survive in the premiership should we get to the playoffs Delighted as we are to see this young team play excellent football the likelyhood is we will have to sell off one or two of these rising stars to make ends meet. A lot of footbal clubs have boards which put money in Our board take money out in wages (yet to be disclosed) So when you ask has Ruperts strategy been vindicated well yes for the WGS spell and since JP has arrived other than that he has been an arrogant dismal failure But he certainly has a lot to make up for

On the bassi that we are told that no player is bigger thna the team can we not accept that that Clive Woodward along with the Radio Station and the insurance company are history. He was a failure because his introduction caused a trouble and became unsustainable. If he was so great he would have understood the delicate and sensitive politics surrounding is role and managed the situation better. The lowe luvvies just want to prove that Sir Rupert never makes a mistake. Cant wait for "if only Hoddle had been appointed as Sir Rupert wished". The proof of Sir Ruperts succes will be whether in the next two years we get to the playoffs and whether we can hang on to any of the players who start to show promise. Stop getting hysterical. There are a lot of people who think and will always think Sir Rupert should have been run of town for his failures and that he is an arrogant ****

Saints 1 -4 Birmingham

We are all Saints fans and enjoy seeing the team play well. However, lets not get hysterical because we have won a match. The real test for RLs Total Football whatsit will be if we achieve the playoffs in the next two years and whether we can hold on to any of these players when they start to get noticed. It will be interesting to see what happens to-night.

Never liked Fredidie annd Fannie was just a cow -
He has been hiding his inate talent well then .Must have been saving it for us. Look it must have been his Mum saying to his Dad "That boy needs a club sort it or you are on short rations"

You cant blame the kid. They wish to associate themselves with success. Blame the authorities and Sky who have turned football attendance into something that is done on the sofa rather than in a ground. Not so many parents can afford to take their kids to live football It is the cost of failure that Saints fans have to pay and the same reason you see all those Pompey shirts now We are doomed to invisibility in the football world. In a generation there will only be two divisons. Premiership and Champions League the rest will conference style teams This is the true cost of our board members of all persuasions who bought into a club with no resources to fund the growth of the club in an envrionment where sustained success depends on investment. There is no way we can mount a challenge on promotion without money never mind survive in the Premiership. We will not be able to hold on to any young player without the ability to pay comparable wages. Sad but true Our board ******s one and all

3-1 Derby We can score for toffee
-
It was always going to be this way. We would take an offer for any player to reduce the debt. Trouble is cant see a point when we wont have to take any offer. Therefore just a slow lingering death hoping someone is going to come in and rescure us. RL shouldnt bull**** the fans. "Total football revolutuion = Total asset stripping" It s not such a catchy phrase but a lot nearer the truth. You will hang yet Rupert

Watch the panic to get Skacel and Euell involved unfold first-hand

Rupert Lowes Total Football Revolution Brilliant -
I dont understand how Rupert and Michael Wide imagined they could do advance the club without financial investment. Did Rupert really believe when we were in the Premiership that we could become a bigger club without serious investment Even then we sold a good player every year. So what was the masterplan If we now have to sell the young players then all that will happen is that everytime one looks to be making the grade he will attract the attention of other clubs and we will lose him early in his career for little money. That is not a strategy that is just hanging on and hoping somehthing will turn up Reality is Rupert & Co have no hope of pushing this club forward all they can offer is a lingering death as they sell offevery player of merit to meet the monthly costs Lok forward to hearing from the luvvies to explain how he is going to save the club
-
I have met Rupert Lowe and I hate him ( well strongly dislike on the basis that he is an arrogant **** who never admits he is wrong and who only seeks what is good for him rather then the club)
-
The hard part is holding on to young players when they attract attention Kind of messes up the total football revolution strategy If they are any good the larger clubs want to pick them up very young so they pay the minimum for them
-
Saints 1-5 Birmingham Then there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth
-
I am saying we will struggle to survive in the Championship if we dont find investment and are forced to sell the best of the kids
-
We are off to La La land again
-
The trouble with the kids strategy is that we will be hounded by clubs who see any of them who looks lilke developing into a good player. We will then sell the player as we always need money. At best the RL strategy can only be a holding strategy. We cant progress without investment we can only stave off relegation & administration
-
For goodness sake whilst it is great to see the kids playing well we have yet to kick a ball in anger. RL came back to rescue his share value. He has cut costs and off loaded as many players as he can like anyone would have had to do. He wouldnt recognise a good player if one fell out the sky and hit him. All we have is a holding strategy. If the kids do well they will be targeted by other clubs and sold. At best we can hope stay in this division We dont have the money to get to the premiership and we certainly dont have the money to stay in the premiership. If you think that is a brilliant strategy then you are easily pleased. Lets see what happens between now and the end of the transfer period in Jan. Try and catch a grip Scooby.
