Downes seems to be playing higher up the field today.

Such an issue for the team. On 70 mins there are holes appearing through the middle. Martin could see it and tried to plug with Stephens. However he was struggling by then as well. Needed Charles or Bragg. Plus what's happened to Meghoma. Looked ready when he played. Thought Che had a good game today. Taking him off looked to be an error, but there is a game Tuesday Martin will be working hard to keep the players fresh.

Good take. Not having Charles there was a big mistake. He has energy and enthusiasm. Stephens could never step into that role at 75 minutes. Very conflicted on Brookes, moments of magic but zero contribution to defence. No wonder KWP looked knackered.
