  1. Listening to someone at work today, they said that the new technology that the oxford vaccine uses had already been invented but not used to date, so they were half way there when they started back in February. Of course there was always the risk that it wasn't going to work at all, thankfully it did. Still a bloody good achievement.
  2. Well loads of governments bought future options on different vaccines, so the pharma companies had government financial support.
  3. Nigel Pearson weirdo. Tim Sherwood total dick.
  4. You can't take a bloke wearing pyjamas and a revolver holster on TV seriously.
  5. Surely people are over that by now, I mean he's no Adrian fuckin Heath.
  6. We are talking about different things. I have a couple in my area, a two lane road into one and two lanes into one after a set of traffic lights. Neither have priority and at rush hour both lanes are full and slow moving so merging should be simple, one car from each lane at a time.
  7. How can you not do it right? Surely the car furthest forward merges first and that's it.
  8. This is what they are after, enough gullible people to spread doubt on the election result, to delegitimise the government and energise the base right the way through to the next election.
  9. https://youtu.be/WzHVpBINPkQ Michael Owen's dive against the Argies.
  10. People in the dominant lane of two merging lanes who get arsy when you merge in front of them.
  11. It's not the just the pitch its the architectural references around it. Missing fans is only one element, playing at home is still an advantage I would have thought.
  12. I'm happy with that inconsistency.
  13. Turkish the Saintsweb Mr Miyagi mentoring antiforever on his forum journey, that's nice.
  14. You say that, then you use one correctly.
  15. Classy
  16. People having zoom meetings at their desk with out headphones.
  17. And once people break the rules they continue to, better to allow them, then compliance returns afterwards, so the theory goes.
  18. Was he the Argentinian Le Tissier. Maybe the handball really was God. I loved him longer than I hated him.
  19. And that gives the keeper time to set themselves properly. One on one with a keeper is a battle that the striker won't always win. The advantage is with the striker but good keepers will save loads or force the striker to miss.
  20. Was that Theo miss really a 'miss' or just a good chance not taken. I mean Patrício is a good keeper, he was set quickly and his positioning was good, he had both posts covered. Yes Theo connected badly, but he did what most strikers would do and went for the rear post. Maybe hard and high would have been better. Didn't Ings fail with a similar one last season. If he had missed his first that would have been a miss but was his second any more of a miss than Armstrong's.
  21. I'm not fussed about getting the city shield into the badge. I don't live in Southampton and haven't for 40 years, I wonder whether I would feel differently if I did.
  22. Vaccines aren't classed as treatments, they are a preventative measure.
  23. I don't see why the ball and scarf are seen as 70's icons, they are timeless items.
  24. Is your drive for all this economic destruction really only about your pension.
  25. Maybe because it's a really shit game.
