Don't you believe it, the fuzz love the aggro. I've known a few over the years. -
Were you as embarassed as me by yesterday ?
Fan The Flames replied to Raven on the wing's topic in The Saints
I bet you looked the nuts -
You obviously confuse the words most and all. Yes there were teams that over stretched themselves and there were teams that got into trouble after relegation. But the amount of teams that have entered into administration is still dwarfed by those that haven't. All of them can't have had sugar daddies so they must have been operating in a sustainable way. Just like teams have been doing for years, Lowe neither invented it or was the only proponent of it. For the teams that overstreched themselves and didn't go into admin but are still suffering the effects; like Forrest or Sheffield Wed, these teams ended up struggling in the championship the same place prudent Southampton ended up pre Liebherr.

The pitch was shocking and imo it was the primary cause of our poor play yesterday, we struggled on a poor pitch against Millwall.
-
Didn't we have one of the most bloated squads of the premier league, full of average players, not very sustainable. It's also amazing that people still think he was the only prudent chairman in a sea of loose spending nutters. Most clubs were acting in a sustainable way including Lowe, but they happened to invest in the team whereas Lowes primary concern was the shareholders. He was the worse thing that happened to SFC.

Something happened to his swede when he went to Sheffield United, so it's up to NA and Southampton to ensure that doesn't happen here.

Big big week end, its great beating Holloway, get a dodgy penalty for starters, that will wind him up. Got to stay strong because he will want to beat us big time. Play off team, you're having a laugh; play off team, you're having a laugh.

Pompey can knock us off the top spot

The Gambia - Here to brighten up an already sunny day....

Uplifting story, I don't know why someone choosing the same team as me is pleasing but it is. Until recently I worked with a few African lads and they are all football mad but Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal fans. -
I make it five, want Middlesborough to lose, keep the form in the playoffs poor in case the unthinkable happens.

It's not mind games more like expectation management.

I think you will find its the dad forcing him into doing the Nazi salute and yes he has been reported to the authorities.

Every time we have a big crowd we have a thread like this, some people go a lot some don't get over it people. We have people leaving early what ever the crowd size is.

I don't think he is moaning about selling Sharp, he is just saying that Sharp has lived up to the myth of scoring against your old club.

Jos and Jose best centre back pairing in Championship?
Fan The Flames replied to Big_Bald_Si's topic in The Saints
I like Jos but he can be slow on the turn, like at Millwall last week. -
You might be a king but we are the Saints.

RL in a few years time, RL is in the form of he's career where as JR is on the wane, still a very good footballer though, 5 in ten is good. However from what I've seen he has added experience and the younger guys always pull him into the goal celebrations. So he is probably a good influence on them and added to the spirit in the team that they obviously have. As a youngish side we don't have an equivalent.

88 has been enough to come second in 5 of the last 7 seasons and first in three of them. Everyone is talking as though Reading, West Ham and us will not drop any points (apart from when they play each other); the chances of that happening is very slim. No question doesn't mean 100% probability is more of a statement of confidence.

Wasn't it 1948 when Engleburt Humperdinck represented England in the Eurovision Song Contest.
