I can't think why anyone would think that 'you used to play football' was a comment on our own style. Its a well know fact that 1. West Ham like the idea that they are a footballing side 2. Surly its the other way around with England, we always manage to qualify with ease against the minnows of Europe and then limp along for a bit in a tournament and then get dumped by a middle ranking side. You can only lose a maximum of twice in a tournament against winning 8 or so qualifying games. So every tournament your win ratio should go up.
