The players don't look nervous to me, PFC are playing well and are first to any loose ball and on top of us when we have it, stopping us do our thing. We've contained them well and will have spells in the second half lets hope we score during one of them.

I dreamt the other night that we were 3 nil up, but I didnt get to see how it finished. So i got loads of corn ears and wrote a selection of numbers on each and swallowed them, I've just mashed up a turd and the first number to appear was 0 followed by 3. Nice one.

Twice to watch Saints, but into double figures over the years watching either Plymouth or Brighton.

Pompey ticket update - ticket office open on Sunday morning

The more I read about this bubble the more ridiculous I think it is, all to stop a few fence rattlers and a few fights between people who want a fight. -
The tree represents the parks of the city. The son or nephew of the designer came on the old forum a while back and ran through the symbolism, most are strikenly obvious but the tree was the one people got wrong.

Do you really believe we will be promoted this season,Yes or No ?
Fan The Flames replied to bjk's topic in The Saints
Yes. -
So its about Bart being here for a long time with out breaking through, a position he has been in for a while yet you choose to start a thread on it 5 mins after he has had a nightmare. Anyway if we are to get rid of people because of a series of **** ups during a game then you should have been moved on to another forum years ago.

Todays the Day........ ...that Turkish doesn't start yet another attendance thread.

Enjoy Aussie boys, lets hope we get the bus back on route.

There is no way he would go back to coaching now he has finally got one of the coveted 92 managers positions. I'm sure the opportunities that he perceives this job offers him will make him forgive a few late pay cheques. After all as a manager he remains a primary creditor.

Unless someone comes in for him why would Appleton leave, his situation is win win.

Shirt Or No Shirt For Pompey Away-Yes Or No!?!
Fan The Flames replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
Wear a Pompey shirt that will confuse everyone. -
You couldn't ban a ST holder for the behaviour of a +1.

To choke you have to either lose a winning position with the finish line in sight or every time you go top you slip off it again; as neither has happened then the bloke who revels in maintaining their negative awkward internet persona is wrong yet again.

Claus: I thought about suicide after my alcohol battle.
Fan The Flames replied to Pancake's topic in The Saints
The fact that Claus has had to seek help from a rehab centre suggests that his problems were quiet deep and as he classes himself as an alcholic then yes he has a mental health problem. Just becuase he had some fun times when drinking shouldn't detract from the issue, anyone who watched Gazza the other night could plainly see that he had been through a terrible time, although a lot of the times 'on it' would have been great. No we don't know why Gary Speed died but no one on here was linking it to depression. -

Fan The Flames replied to Pancake's topic in The Saints
I'm sorry you are confusing stress and mental health issues, no footballer is asking for sympathy for a stressful life. Robert Enke walked in front of a train not because his life was stressful but because he was ill. Mental helath issues like depression and alchaholism do not discriminate and unfortunatley having a lot of money can indeed be a contributory factor. Also if you think mental discipline is the thing that stops you becoming ill you are very wrong. -
Claus: I thought about suicide after my alcohol battle.
Fan The Flames replied to Pancake's topic in The Saints
Many sportsmen claim they miss the camaraderie, a group of lads together having a laugh. Cricket has a suicide rate twice the avergae, these guys spend a lot of time together and they miss it afterwards. I work for a mental health NHS Trust and know that depresssion is a terrible thing and not something that 'tuff men' have to suffer alone. There are lot's of services out there that can be tapped into so if you feel bad see your GP or go to A&E. -

Boy George and Bernard Matthews -
My contribution, bought it a few years back but I would rather it went to a home that actually needs it.

Maybe the default reaction should be encouragement, after all you could see what he was trying to do. Im involved in a little football thing and its all about encouraging each other and ninot knocking anyone, utter makes a great positive environment.
