  1. The site is great. I think Eurosaint is right. The same arguments keep occurring because whilst we are in this mess people views will not be easily changed, for every anti Lowe poster there's a poster typing the same old positive lies about Rupes, for every entrenched anti Lowe there is an entrenched Lowe luvvie. Posts come along like the car one today that lighten the mood, so maybe those fed up could start a few more threads like this. Only when we are out of this mess will people compromise their views.
  2. It was on their poor soles, on occassions he battered the soles of their feet when they lost.
  3. Exactly nobody knows the chairmen of those clubs because they haven't got the egomaniacs we have. Out of my mates they support Arsenal, Spurs, Man U & Brighton they are all aware of Lowe and his antics. At work talking to clients about football, when I say who I support most mention something about Lowe, they might not remember his name but they all know we are run by a nutter. I am not exaggerating but most proper football fans know of Lowe. Just like the football fans on here have managed to mention mad chairmen from other clubs, some going back a good few years, the football fraternity know.
  4. Only in your mind where rimming is constant theme.
  5. and sometimes you are funny but not on this occasion.
  6. That me and Alpine cyber high fiving
  7. What level of manager management do you suggest, imo you get a manager in to do a job and you let him get on with it, and imo you build a team in the summer not a two part build in the summer and jan transfer window. You use the window to strengthen if required but as part of a stratergy. We almost made it to the final an away goal rule away. It almost paid off.
  8. I can't remember Lowe promising we would have a **** season this year.
  9. Not a car saints story but a car Plymouth one. Driving down to Plymouth (my Dad is a Plymouth fan) at the beginning of the season a few years back, we got caught up in the summer west country traffic and it was looking like we would miss the game. My Dad was getting really stressed up and driving like a nutter, which was scary as he has parkinsons. But the time we got to Home Park it was just after 3 and my old mans stress levels were through the roof and when he couldn't park near to the ground he just lost it; he screamed, turned the steering wheel and put his foot down, we bumped up onto the kerb, screeched to a halt and ran into the ground. I nearly ****ed myself. After the game we came out and realised my dad had parked the car up a mound and half in a bush and the car was surrounded by Policeman. My Dad said to me to wait here and I saw him walk towards his car, use his stick, exaggerate his symptoms and showed the Policeman his parkinson card. The next thing I saw the Policeman guiding my Dad out of the bush, stopping the traffic on the road so he could rejoin the carriageway and waving him off. He pulled up around the corner and picked me up, classic.
  10. Come the shake up Wilde will get his share for letting Lowe back in and ultimately fooling the fans. He gambled, which I wasn't against, in the play off year but he had nothing to back it up when the gamble failed. But Lowe is a black hole for all the discontent, why drive the Mini when you have a Ferrari. Lowe in my personal opinion doesn't like us and that is why all my vitriol is directed at him.
  11. I thought there was a bit of time inbetween the two events, but I could be wrong. It all just moulds into one. I dont think the two things, staying up and the three egos talking is mutually exclusive as long as the three of them can keep a lid on it it shouldn't affect the players. We need another set of minutes to pour over.
  12. What a surprise, Sundance acting like a c u n t.
  13. Its only fulfilling a demand that is there. There isn't the level of detail and scrutiny in other sports because there isn't the demand. People want more than just the matchday and before the internt there was fanzines, supporters club, premium telephone lines. Afterall we are a club and people want to be a part of it just like they would have been when it first started and just like it was intended.
  14. This always get claimed on here, where is the mountain. All I see is a few people consolidating their view that Lowe is bad for the club and a few defending him.
  15. Lowe was killling two ducks with one stone, getting his dream team in whilst slagging of the previous regimes financial acumen. Its another back-firing Lowe stroke of genius.
  16. No not just rumour and hearsay, over the years there have been quite a few substantiated stories of Lowe screaming at people, that makes him a bully in my book.
  17. He seems to have modified his language, not so inflammatory. The bit about NP afterwards being a strong manager was equally interesting.
  18. I've made my on mind up on the evidence before us. Lowe is a bully and a total c u n t.
  19. We have to thank our lucky stars that Lowe couldn't find a buyer in time.
  20. Hang on a minute you singled Alpine out, even though others have also said season tickets holders will moan, and then go on to offer a solution to something you are claiming only exists in Alpine's mind. I am certain that season ticket holders will moan if the price of games were slashed.
  21. I would expect the major shareholders to invest some of their own money to strengthen the team.
  22. I thought his reaction was good, it certainly seemed a bit more intense but that could be a reaction to the chants rather than any anti-pompey/pro-Saints feelings.
  23. Adams time has come and gone, my Brighton mates were initially happy to see him back but were shocked by his lack of tactics and motivation which left an alright team so down on confidence that it is now struggling in the relegation zone.
  24. Maybe the best thing for the share price is for us to be relegated and do well in League 1, maybe that is the plan.
  25. There has been no other club our size do an Aldershot so I am fairly confident that this will not happen to the Saints. In recent years it just Maidstone, Newport and Aldershot that have gone properly bust and all were a lot smaller and fragile than us.
