Some truth in that imo. I voted this morning in the sunshine, the polling booth was full of old dears. This evening, as people get back from work its been hissing down. That will play a part too if its replicated across the country.

Puel would be a joke. Obviously ideally you want to play a certain style and to promote youth, but a track record of success trumps everything else imo.

afaik relatively few of the spoiled papers have "eff em all" or somesuch. Most of the time you simply cant determine what the voter intended because they left it blank, put two marks on the same paper, put a mark miles away from the boxes or ripped it up.
