The ones in jail are the jaywalkers. Those guilty of running away arent.

It was that which secured a place. If only you had been tart about the laces too. First place was yours to take.

Maybe in law but not for me. There is a difference imo between discrimination restricting someone's access to employment, housing, medical care on a corporate level and between choosing which clients you take on as a service provider. I know professionals who discriminate on all kinds of grounds - a masseuse who wont see men, an accountant who wont take on landlords, it just doesnt end up in the media / courts.

Im not religious either, but it seems to me to be a legitimate 'right' to believe homosexuality / adultery / sex before marriage etc is wrong as long as you dont persecute those people who believe and act differently.

Surely everyone is within their rights to turn down work. They shouldnt (and ideally wouldnt) have to give a reason.

Lol. In that case how come the UK is less wealthy than France and Germany where the disparity is a lot lower? Why has that gap widened over the past 10 years instead of narrowing?
-
Of course. I dont think anyone is arguing about that. But the top 10% professional class are also being screwed by the top 1%. There is an unprecedented accumulation of wealth amongst a very small number of people at levels not seen since the 1920s. On a different note the rates paid for different jobs vary substantially from country to country. For example a vet in the UK will earn double what one does in Sweden but an engineer will earn less here than there. A lot of the gumpf we are fed about market forces and rate for the job is in fact fairly arbitary.

Ther blogger might not be independent but the stats its based on are. Britain DOES have the most unequal wealth distribution in Europe. You might be able to argue its skewed because of the high number of wealthy non doms here / the large banking industry etc or even its a good thing because of blah blah, but you cant credibly argue its not true.

But then you'd just pipe up more about how great it is your masters and betters are keeping your wages flat so they can pay themselves more and why they deserve to avoid tax on that extra income you earned for them.

tbf he did insist on Pompey adhering to the contract they signed with him. It was a shock for them.

Wow, wow how can you not have house insurance? It doesn't cost that much and Id prioritise that over almost anything else, including illegal stuff. Im not local anymore so dont know anyone, sorry.

You could cap PL wages at £10,000pw, give free entrance a pie and a pint to 32,5000 people and they'd still make money from tv rights alone. Shows how skewed PL football is.
-
Do you? Doesn't that only apply to pedigree cats which are often so inbred they have genetic problems? Much better off with a moggy imo.
-
Dont know if they do kittens but you can get a second hand low mileage cat here for nothing. http://www.cats.org.uk/adopt-a-cat

Improved? Ed had to fall on his sword. Ritual disemboweling could be a popular spectator sport.
