Perhaps the actual agent was a fake? Anyway he cant be a fake because that would mean that twitter and cyberspace was infested by underachievers trolling and lying to each other about what they know and who they met.

I think its a good bold move. The idea that you have to pay excessive wages to salaried staff otherwise they will move overseas was never true and has been thoroughly discredited now. Reducing the pay differential between 'workers ' and top management wont increase a companies overall wage bill but it will, besides making people believe in the 'system' more, will lift a lot of people out of benefits and into tax paying.

"The controversial footage was obtained by journalist Dan McDougall, who is Africa correspondent for The Sunday Times and has a track record for exposing the use of child labour. " So not the BBC at all then. They and Panorama were deceived like the rest of us.

Just had a cold call from the thickest woman alive working for the 'refunds department' .

Sorry dont understand what you're saying. For what its worth I dont think people should be posting up players addresses either

If Saints hadnt signed Sharp he would be a league 1 player right now.

Except the 1988 ticket is standing and the 2012 was seated - seating being much more expensive than terracing, probably c50% more. Inflation of £12 to £45 is 5.4%pa over 25 years. So apart from the dodgy maths, the seat / standing difference and the fact that average wages have increased more than 2.5 times - 5.4% pa is bloody ridiculous. Apparently.

No offence Johhnyboy but if I was famous and somebody started discussing where my young children go to school, I'd be furious. Not a good idea.
-
Too true. He often reads, though not often posts anymore on here, imo.
-
He looks dead chuffed about becoming a Saint. Even peeling off his old club badge during the call.
-
I think he'll be first choice for most games, but that Adkins will try and mix it up a bit more this season now he has more options to play with. Our biggest fault last year was being a bit predictable. Rodriguez can also play as a winger....which is actually where we are most short atm.
-
Cant see it. I think purchasing Sharp was as a result of giving up on Hooper.
-
Dont disagree. Just think Sharp is more of a box striker, RL is very good at holding up, knocking down and set pieces, but TL and Rodriguez are more alike in that they are both creative and unpredictable and banging them in from long distance.
-
Not sure. RL, Sharp and Rodriguez are all quite different so would enable Adkins to play lots of permutations. Tadanari Lee would be the one most usurped by Rodriguez's arrival imo.

Funny how when the facts change your perception changes. I watched that press conference with the parents and though I thought they were a bit odd, I never suspected them. If you watch the same footage now you can see the crying is dry eyed; the father talks too much about what he did to save them and how upset he is - and not enough about how wonderful his kids were.

Couldnt even hit the corner flag or row Z ffs.

Surely this fails at the first hurdle. You dont measure "whether Britain is regressing to a less civil state with less social constraint and more casual aggression" through some non randomised survey of peoples attitudes and beliefs. Unless of course you are really looking to measure peoples perception of threat and danger - in which case you will have trouble getting it through the ethics committee because you arent open about what your intention is. -
Cant we get a Saints web stalker over there so we can debate then slag off his wallpaper choices?

I inferred that when you said "I make that an increase of 14,333%" that was a complaint, rather than a detatched unconcerned statement of fact. Apologies if I was mistaken. Season tickets for under 11s varied last year from free in the family section to £100 elsewhere. U17s ranged from £200 to £400. Maybe the increase seems more to you because one of your kids has had a birthday and moved into the more expensive bracket? Ive got that joy to come next year. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/9064330.Saints_season_ticket_prices_announced/

Outstanding maths and logic. Comparing the cost of a single match ticket in 1988 with the price of a season ticket in 2012 and then complaining the cost has gone up. It cost £2 per match to take my two last year. That was outstanding value imo. Maybe a bit morre this year but I'd bet still £5 or less.

True. What Chinny would need is somebody with an adjoining piece of land that he needs to sell.....

The writers are just young, inexperienced freelancers writing for low budget blogs and mags because they are cheap to hire. You cant put any credibility in what Goal write. Better off reading the Mirror or Lancashire telegraph.

I hope we've got a lot of cash because much as I'd like Rodriguez to sign, strikers and scoring goals are not where our weaknesses are. CB, RM, CM and GK are higher priorities.
-
Exactly. He'll probably make an exctra £500,000 just for one year in the EPL.
