  1. I used this last week. It works. http://www.tune-up.com/
  2. Then how come no other clubs have come in for him? Nobody else wants to pay Green £50,000pw now so QPR will have no chance of shifting him in a years time and earning a fee.
  3. Lots of decent options - Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland. You know UEFA - those countries who have the stadiums, infrastructure, decent hotels, transport links and are places people actually want to visit.
  4. I wouldnt mind us ****ing around withn the internal affairs of other countries 'in the national interest' if we were any good at it and weren't so blatantly and obviously hypocritical. All we end up doing is breeding resentement extremism and anti western feeling - endangering our security, not ensuring it.
  5. No he wasnt. He had a goal ratio of 1 goal every 4.5 games - pretty **** poor for a main striker.
  6. You can find oddballs anywhere. There is a Saints supporter on my football forum who regularly predicts doom for the club and rarely has a good word to say about the team, manager or anybody else.
  7. Us, Reading and Swansea. http://inagist.com/all/212668959575646209/ Just plain wrong imo.
  8. He was on £4k pw at Brighton, and he hasnt improved any since.
  9. It might not be ground breaking but its a lot more contemporary and relevant than maypole dancing in a pastiche rural idyll set. As one of the comments on the Sky site said - "27Million quid on a tellytubby set???"
  10. I deleted the "July 1st 2012 Abdennour move to English Premiership side Southampton on a 4 year deal worth 4.9 Million Euros" part and returned it to the entry as of 22 May because the 'update' was clearly either vandalism or unsubstantiated rumour. No idea who posted it.
  11. Should have done an amazing sound and light show on iconic London landmarks. This kind of thing:
  12. I wonder if they realise other nations have countryside and farm animals too. They arent uniquely British.
  13. How come some teams have got little green 'moving up' indicators next to their name, some have red 'moving down and Saints have 'no change'? Pretty hard trick to pull off in the close season with 0 games played....
  14. £6m is a significant chunk whatever your budget is. Note they didnt say "the majority of"
  15. Friend of mine got married to a girl who was lovely, but just wasnt that into sex (according to him). They went out for years before they got married and he had regular affairs which she shut her eyes to. All of our group told him not to do it since there was clearly something wrong with their relationship. On their wedding night during the reception he ****ged one of the bridesmaids on the hotel fire escape. They are still married 20 years later and the mates who told him not to do it are mostly divorced.....
  16. Because the vast majority of costs for most public departments are staff - with regular and hard to cut pay. The MoD have very large capital expenditures, which they can move around or massage in order to fit whatever target the government announce.
  17. I'd bet good money they have simply massaged the costs of depreciation and the projected costs of planned future capital expenditure.
  18. Surely that would make him a jeweller?
  19. Is that the A27 between Brighton and Falmer?
  20. Dune, on the assumption you are making a serious point, how do you know? I, for example, donate anonymously. Im also more likely to support causes I know personally and have supported long term. Maybe its just that the right wingers occasionally support causes on SWF because they dont have regular commitments elsewhere and include their name against the donation in order to get SWF kudos? Or maybe left /right has absolutely nothing to do with it?
  21. Thats his nightlife explained. How about the job?
  22. Asian cousin of Jake the Peg.
  23. The OPs claim is the direct opposite of reality (I know, I was amazed too). Poorer people give a greater proportion of their income to charity - its a well known (and played upon) fact in philanthropy. The rich are generally very mean - but with the average bumped up in the main by a few very generous donors like Gates, Buffet and Bloomberg who realise they are getting old, have more money than they or their children will ever need and want to leave a monument. http://blogs.wsj.com/wealth/2010/08/09/are-the-poor-more-charitable-than-the-rich/ http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/22/magazine/22FOB-wwln-t.html http://digitaljournal.com/article/273664
  24. Good stuff. Rather him than Green I think.
  25. Odd thing to do if Rodriguez and his foxy gf are sunning themselves at the Grand Harbour hotel.
