Please don't embarrass us with any more clown costumes

Bit like endlessly trolling a forum for Saints fans then. Pointless and makes the orginator look a little pathetic. -
Wettest April for a century. Trouble is when you get rain in the Spring / summer it mostly gets sucked up by the trees / vegetation. You need winter rain to fill up the aquifers.

Thats exactly what I thought but didnt want to post because too many people look for divisions when there arent any. In this case there may be, a lot can be said by omission imo. Lets hope idf there anyy issues they are because of two valid opions about how to get the best for the club and are resolved amicably. One that crossed my mind was a difference over a Director of Football role - but it could be anything or nothing.

A cruise ship called the Titanic built cheap in a nationalised Chinese shipyard. What could possibly go wrong?
-
He'll be the first name on the 'ship out' list for the Summer imo.

Fulham lost twice as many games as Saints but still won the league because they didnt draw any. Lot to be said for setting out to win every game.

Things you will miss - things you are not looking forward to...

Being able to turn up and buy tickets on the day. -
True, but its still a relatively new league and I guess they are always looking to build its profile. A match againt a European side with a Japanses player could work in a week when they dont have match.

Things that have changed in our 7-year PL absence...

I find that ****ing irritating and end up making a mental note to never by anything from the advertiser. I cant be the only one. -
Have a feeling its March to Dec.

Cheers for that. Its been really heartening to see Norwich and Swansea do well this season - proving that good management and a motivated team can work better than throwing excessive amounts of cash around. I hope Saints continue do the same.

They'd have you on a round eye watch list.

True, but PL players do it too - so we wont stand out too much. -
My favourite POL post "thank you *****s who have run the club like little no nothing imbersills". Imbecilic spelling of imbeciles

Anyone else enjoying a huge slice of Humble Pie?
buctootim replied to Cestrian Saint's topic in The Saints
Total respect to all those 'fessing up'. I wasnt sceptical about getting the PL in 5 years, but regular Champions League?? Lets hope we all get proved wrong. -
And Robert Bowen got the skin of his neck caught in the zip and had to be cut free. Pi ssed myself laughing

I did that but they were selling a lot of stuff by Hamaki Ho and Vivien Westwood Lee and I didnt want to get that coz it sounded a bit, you know.... foreign. -
Spot on about Simon Hughes and a few of the other Liberal MPs (Norman Baker in Lewes is a good example) - but i actually think the Liberals as a party have fewer unprincipled career politicians than Labour or the Tories and are more likely to take a 'good for country' rather than 'good for my people' approach to policy (and no I dont vote for them).

The Moment you knew the Northam wasn't for you anymore
buctootim replied to JackanorySFC's topic in The Saints
People behave differently and want different things at different stages in their lives. We all do it so I dont get the need to knock others who dont fit the same narrow demographic as 'me and my mates'. Ive hardly ever been in the Northam, mainly because I was already 'too old' for it when we moved to SMS. I quite like choosing different parts of the ground depending on whether Im with adult family, mates, my kids or splashing out on hospitality. -

I'm down at Primark now. Can you text me what to buy? -
Great vid Hamster thanks. Im going to ask our website people at work to post it uo. I dont think anyone knows why the strandings happen. Theories include naval sonar, disease, the leader getting lost and local quirks in the magnetic field.
