Turkish's big Thursday night was spent making a crap vid about the social activity of a younger, more active web forum poster that he has never met.

Another option is to drive your car to the UK ferry terminal, park up in a local side road, travel across as foot passengers and pick up a hire car in France. This means you save maybe 1 days car rental, the cost of the ferry for the car (£200 total?) and also end up with a left hand drive car for European roads. You also avoid a lot of the fees that UK hire companies load on when you take their car abroad - continental operators are much more relaxed in my experience. Depending on how much stuff you are lugging this might work well for you. This place is cheap http://www.car-rental-hire.co.uk/bookuk1.htm - have never used them mind and thet use Europcar vehicles. £610 for a Peugeot 5008 or Vauxhall Zafira (5 seats plus two kids seats) or £990 for a Ford Galaxy. Other than that join the CSMA for £25 http://www.csmaclub.co.uk/index.php?pn and get 10% off all carr hire at Holiday autos worldwide (a good cheap rental company) and big discounts off Britannia breakdown (also very good).

'Rule' is the verb - you 'rule' a sheet of paper when you draw lines on it. Ruler is the noun (object)

Smirking Saint contradicting himself on the De Ridder thread. "Tbf it was lucky we got a corner out of it, it was terrible from SDR rabbit in headlights stuff, guly would have tested keeper" http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?36998-De-Ridder&p=1323406#post1323406 Do you actually know what you think at all? or are you just becoming one of those sad ****ers who just needs attention?
-
I think you are missing, or avoiding, the point I (and maybe Kevin) was making. Guly is a second striker / attacking central mf. He is played in our problem position of right midfield because we dont have better options and he is helping out the team. Denigrating a forward being played at right midfield because the defensive side of his game isnt great is just stupid imo - especially when he is better at it than the other option which is De Ridder. Maybe if Guly refused to play there and we had to rely on the erratic abilities and form of Puncheon, Chaplow and De Ridder week in week out people would appreciate him more.

Good post. The midfield was weaker when Guly went off, possession dropped right down. He does a job, out of position on the right mid, for the team because there is no-one better. How difficult is that to understand?

Thats a joke right? Devastated is when your family is wiped out in a car crash or you lose you job, marriage and kids in the same day. Claiming to be devastated by drawing 2-2 in a local derby football match just makes you a drama queen.

I thought that, but seems a little obvious. Also little squaw indicates a contraction. Caw (as in crow) maybe?

Pretty much off the major bus routes though tbf.

Beforehand I thought I smoked just because I liked it - I only wanted to give up for health reasons but the idea of never being able to smoke again was a big mental hurdle. Once I put the patches on nearly all the desire for a fag just disappeared, was amazing and made me realise just how much of the desire was a physical addiction. The nicorette patches only come in three strengths 5,10 and 20mg. Dont start on the 20s unless you are a really heavy smoker as you'll end up putting more nicotine into your system than through fags, and make giving up a bit harder. I smoked about 15 a day and started on 10mg and reduced gradually - slower than they said by creating a 7.5mg stage and a 2.5mg stage by cutting the patches in half. They tell you not to do this but it worked for me by making the weaning off period longer and more gentle. As a result had much much less craving than I expected and needed less willpower than expected (always a problem for me).

Even then they'd still be within the EU, so no duty free either.

Surely you mean Clouseaux?

Played on the masters course at Pebble Beach in 2010 a couple of days before the event then watched the first day. Great event, even for a non golf head like me.

Bit of a left field option, but if you arent bothered by the cachet of the name then a Peugeot 508 is a beautiful car to drive, especially long distance. I found it supremely comfortable, quick and good to drive - liked it better than a Lexus GS or Passat. Even the top of the line 200ps GT diesel with all the bells and whistles its only going to be around £30,000 so its competing in a sector lower than some of the cars you are looking at. That said, well worth test driving a GT imo, if only to give you another take on some of the others.

Anyone remember the old war films where the nasty Germans would barbarically put the gallant Brits in the solitary cooler for 7 days, or 14 if they had been really bad? In the US 80,000 people are serving their prison sentences in solitary, for up to 40 years. 40 years in solitary is inhuman, the death penalty would be less 'cruel and unusual'. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17564805

If you play Blackjack perfectly in the UK (just look up online when to draw, split, stick etc) your odds of winning are 103% - so for every £1,000 you stake you win £30. The casino wins from those people from people doing dumb things like getting a card on 18. Doesnt work in the US because their rules favour the house. Its not actually much fun to do though, playing to a formula, and you need to play a lot of hands to make it worthwhile.

It'll be a no news news story imo.

You weren't thrown off the scent of asking those questions by anything in the ad description then?

Good plan. Or a leech. What you need is a good infestation of something socially undersirable. I stayed in a house in China once when a water buffalo walked in and everybody ran away. Wont really work for you, logisitics and that. Maybe you could spray shaving foam round your cats mouth and tell her about that time it got bitten by a fox in France.
