  1. We're going to Brisbane in September for three weeks, wish I could emigrate, but alas, the age thing precludes us from going. Really looking foward to it.
  2. You haven't missed it, I've been saying this for a while now. The ONLY source that claims it's for image rights, are voices from Poopey. Many on here have said it was a 100% fine levied on them for non-payment.
  3. Wrong, oh so wrong.
  4. You have to laugh, this thought is all over your own boards, but the simple fact is that they are allowed to appeal. You don't want to listen to all that AA tells you, he is another muppet like the Storrie teller, and you lot lap up their every word.
  5. That is totally correct, and that is registered with the court.
  6. Slow typist:cry:
  7. Well, here's a great little read. Bought out before HMRC's challange, but spot on. Well worth a read folks. http://www.salaw.com/publications/articles/beware-the-ides-of-july.html
  8. Sigh!! Andy107 User is offline #1 15 Jul 2010 17:27 Complain | Prev | Next | Quote and reply to userReply to user Signed: June 2008 Can other creditors appeal against HMRC? ... Posts: 151 Academy Academy Is this even feasible? What would happen if the large percentage of creditors who agreed to the CVA appealed against HMRC in court in a seperate case? Could they not argue that HMRC's appeal could jeopardise the money they are owed by the club if the worst happens and we are liquidated?
  9. Next step.....liquidation!
  10. I guess you haven't been following this thread too closely, as you seem to have selective recall;). As we keep saying, 'it's the hope that kills you', and you lot still have hope, and that's the real laugh here:lol:
  11. You want to do the sums my fishy friend, even if HMRC do not appeal, you will fail to deliver on the CVA, thus prompting another winding up order.
  12. How blind can one fool be? MattPFC2005 User is offline #1 14 Jul 2010 22:03 Complain | Prev | Next | Quote and reply to userReply to user Signed: February 2005 Now HMRC are going to appeal, our prospects...? ... Posts: 10,110 Hall of Fame Hall of Fame I take it as given they will appeal. The administrators indicate as much, that is good enough for me. That HMRC has 'form' towards Pompey. So where will it leave us? We are going to need to get special dispensation to sign players on a very short-term basis. If we don't get that then we are utterly stuffed. If the FL render themselves a farce by refusing, then we should reciprocate the farce by forfeiting Stevenage to prioritise [the league]. We should also- as last year's Cup runner's up- humiliate the FA by requesting a forfeit for the FA Cup. If can winch ourselves up to 20 players then we can still give ourselves a fighting chance. Remember Eddie Howe at Bournemouth who has had a year of an embargo but look what he did last season? Our task will be to finish fourth bottom. What would worry me would be the appeal date. We always have to factor in the worst case scenario, so if AA says the court date will be October or November, I suspect it will be very late November. AA says we stand a good chance of winning. So if we do? I would expect HMRC to appeal that like they appeal everything else. Would that be another 28 days to decide? Then more months before a court case? So potentially January as a transfer window would be scuppered AS WELL. I think the key thing here is to get up ourselves up to 20 players. Then fight HMRC and if we win? I think we should seek MASSIVE compensation for what is an act of vengeful brutality (as I have described it in the past). Oh so funny, I thank them for this last years amusment, I really do:lol:

Posts: 2,933 Hall of Fame Hall of Fame It does seem a bit pointless. SOme rumours say it was all paid for by a potential buyer What happened to the good old west country pre season tour.
  14. Yes, easy decision for me. Their men make them wear them, even though it's not a muslim thing, but they themselves walk around in western clothes. I'm suprised that woman's rights groups are not up in arms about it!
  15. Let the games commence:hunt: The taxman looks set to appeal against Pompey's Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA). The News understands Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs will lodge an appeal with the High Court on Thursday against the club's deal to offer creditors 20p in the pound.
  16. Well, I hope they kill Poopey before they impliment this! http://www.accountancyage.com/accountancyage/news/2266268/hmrc-dash-cash
  17. I don't see why you should, when you have let one go, who you could of kept, and I don't mean James!
  18. That'll be you and I then, via our taxes, bad people...bad,bad people!
  19. Is this one true, also dug up off a Poopey board!... Holbrookblue Posted on 05/07/2010 18:51 ompey school of excellance Email Message To A Friend | Reply To Message A mate of mines little brother went for a trial with pompeys youth scheme last week and was trained by scummer coaches[|)]. Apparently due to our financial problems our youth scheme is now a joint effort with there help and is held in Eastleigh. If this is true and although gutting fair play to them for helping the kids out.
  20. Had a wry smile at this, posted on a Poopey board.. Brighton_Blade User is offline #1 05 Jul 2010 17:13 Complain | Prev | Next | Quote and reply to userReply to user Signed: August 2009 Summer transfer news. ... Posts: 9 Trialist Trialist Are you lot going to have any players come start of the season? Why doesn't the whole town donate their benefit money for one week so you can survive. God knows there's enough of you on it. Can't wait to come to Pompey next year and smash up The Registry.
  21. Is the following rather unusual, for such a well run club as Poor smouth....... ........to take advantage of Portsmouth’s financial crisis with a £500,000 bid for Lenny Sowah. The left-back, 17, made five Premier League appearances during Pompey’s relegation season but has failed to report back for pre-season training due to a dispute over unpaid bonuses.
  22. If you're slicing it, you are hitting the ball 'outside/in'. You need to be hitting through a line closer to your right foot, and aiming as if you would hit the ball to the right of your aim. That said, listen to your coach, otherwise you will be confused.
  23. Well!, that would explain it all, makes sense now...thanks.
  24. Now then, I'm thinking the same. Join date June 2010, and all I've read from DBP, is posts having a go at the running of the club. Who are you really Mr Phillips, you have a certain style of moaning!
  25. Would they rest their players, would they ferk. They'd be of to the middle east on a whistle tour, to earn more dosh, play 2/3 games, then come back to two weeks of snow and and ice. Ask yourself this, would you swap jobs with them right now, I work shifts including nights and weekends, for a fraction of what they earn, poor dears that they are, so if Stevie G wants a job swap, well, lets say I'm game. Pussys:rolleyes:
