  1. What do you think about the tactic of playing them at their own game? I've been giving it a whirl for a few weeks now bit I'm not convinced its working....
  2. GS isn't a "skate". If he was he would react to your accusation big time and play the persecution card. I've advised him to rise above that to avoid providing the doubters with ammunition.
  3. I believe you as always GS. Here's an idea to help us defeat the cynics... Grab a screenshot of that Facebook page we both know exists and redact the poster's name and photo so that their identity isn't compromised. That'll shut the doubters up. Always here to help mate.
  4. That's because there aren't any.
  5. @pn_neil_allen: RT @PompeyTrust: PST event planned for members and non-members in April :- http://t.co/IKUm1s3CbC

  7. Ssssshhhhhhhhh
  8. To be fair, 96.7% of my posts stem from my unhealthy obsession with Pompey's demise. I do envy them sometimes, what with them being shareholders of their own club an' all.
  9. I hope people remain angry about it for some time to come. I find anger on an internet football forum erotically stimulating.
  10. Telegraph journo: "The fact Pochettino swerved his post-match media duties, sending up his assistant Jesús Pérez instead, suggests he knew he had made a mistake and was avoiding having to answer for it."
  11. If I was a musician, I'd rather have the 4th best selling album every year than a number one single once every 25 years. This post was brought to you by the Institute of Dodgy Analogies.
  12. No. What would be a surprise is if he didn't
  13. Fret ye not. I'm never mistaken.
  14. A couple of good pragmatic and rational posts there Phil. Batten down the hatches for the inevitable rebukes though
  15. Indeed, maybe they do. Or maybe they don't. Ergo we can say for certain that the draw would have turned out the same or differently if Saints were still in the competition. Potatoes need turning. Back shortly
  16. Look at it this way... If you went back in time one day (let's call it Groundhog Day) do you think your day would end up exactly the same each and every time? Or would there be minor differences? If the people doing the draw had a conversation beforehand (which they obviously would have done) and that conversation lasted 10 seconds longer because they were discussing the brilliant come back from Saints after Rickie equalised with that sitter, then their hands and the bag of balls wouldn't have been in the same molecular position some 10 minutes later. That 10 seconds would have made all the difference. Time to cook dinner now (which may turn out differently because I've spent the last 30 seconds typing out this post...)
  17. He's right though
  18. Spending 5 seconds longer cleaning your teeth in the morning could end up saving your life (or visa versa)
  19. This http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect
  20. The draw won't be the same as it would have been if different clubs were in the draw. Ref: the butterfly effect.
  21. Thank you Barry. Between us we'll beat the forum bullies.
  22. Same applies to you Glasgow mate
