I recall someone posting a link to story or blog on here a year or so ago about a woman fan who had started to lay the foundation for setting up a Phoenix club with friends and/or associates. I seem to remember her saying that she had nothing to do with the trust and was effectively waiting for the club to be liquidated before stepping in....or did I dream all that?

They can't even keep a camera in focus FFS...
-
In that case....Yep....and long may they continue "getting away with it"...
-
Define "getting away with it"...
-
@NabilHassan79: Portpin say they will pursue #Pompey administrators individually for the £400,000 legal costs they have incurred because of adjournment.
-
I really hope the PDT succeed in taking over the club. Seeing them run it for a while is going to be fantastic entertainment beyond our wildest dreams.

No, Pompey live on a different planet...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20728701?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter "The stadium is currently owned by former club owner Balram Chainrai, who has also tabled a takeover bid. The PST has offered Chainrai, who claims he is owed £12m by the club, £2.75m for the ground but he has refused to sell. PKF had hoped to force the sale of the stadium through the court." Am I losing the plot or are the BBC being sloppy with their reporting? Chainrai doesn't OWN the ground, does he? He just has a charge over it. Semantics possibly, I know, but why can't these journos get the basic facts right?

Great news. Congratulations to Billy and family -
@NabilHassan79: A Brown says PST's business plan can survive without 'floating charge' money (£2m) but admits involvement of Stuart Robinson is uncertain.
-
@NabilHassan79: #pompey trust chairman Ashley Brown tells BBC Sport: "We're very pleased with that decision that is exactly the result we wanted."
-
@NabilHassan79: Ugly scenes outside High court with #pompey fans chanting "thieving bastards" at Deepak Chainrai and Brendon Guilfoyle. McInnes urging calm.

So, the Trust could spend another 28 days sorting out the funding for a £2.75m purchase only for the judge to turn around and tell them they've been wasting their time because he doesn't agree with their valuation? All sounds a bit bonkers to me (but there again, this is the legal system we are dealing with here!)
-
But that's the thing..... after today no one is any the wiser as to whether the judge will ratify the Trust's £2.75m valuation....so they could spend the next 28 days finding the aforementioned mug only to be told by the judge that he's not prepared to wave through the Trust's valuation.....all seems a bit cart before horse to me...
-
Not forgetting that PKF recently got taken over (or merged?) with another insolvency firm....I'm sure they would have looked at the amount of fees that PKF have racked up and set their sights on the next big wodge of income....
-
@pn_neil_allen: Farmery; 'It buys us a bit of time. Long road to get this far, extra day or month to get right result it's well spent'. #Pompey Can someone kindly remind me just how long they've had to "get it right" so far...?
-
Anyone else thinking that PKF are simply dragging this out until the next parachute payments arrive...?
-
Ah, well there you go - no need to "self report" yourself to the police as you don't even know if you were breaking the speed limit. The night before is one big red herring until such time you get a NIP about it.
-
@pn_neil_allen: Judge's decision well received by Trust. Worst case scenario would new administrator appointed by Portpin and back to square one. #Pompey
-
@NabilHassan79: Flexibility in date of adjournment with 15 January the likely date. #pompey
-
@NabilHassan79: Portpin say PKF have admitted mistake of overlooking a general 'floating charge'.
-
@pn_neil_allen: Adjourned until January 15 or if any developments arise before then. #Pompey Yawn...
