  1. Any objection if I post on behalf of Dune on this one?
  2. In all seriousness, I assume the Pompey fans will be writing in their hundreds, nay thousands, to the Football League to insist that Chainrai's financial affairs are investigated thoroughly? They wouldn't want to be accused of being wise after the event yet again (when Admin 3 comes along) would they?
  3. Or.....Chainrai goes for the full circle option..... he takes over....ploughs MORE money into the club to try and get them back-to-back promotions (yes, I know, ridiculous in the extreme but bear with me momentarily).... gets them back to the premier league on more leveraged funds.....pockets the premier league membership money.....THEN disappears off into the sunset leaving another trail of inflated contracts, another tainted FA Cup win and yet more debt in his wake.....
  4. I'm not getting why some people are so interested in how other parents choose to bring up their children.
  5. Mark White ‏@marksfc @pn_neil_allen Pompey near liquidation because they handed out contracts they couldn't afford. TBH deserves better than your pathetic tweets Neil Allen ‏@pn_neil_allen @marksfc Funny that you don't agree being a Southampton fan. Not that your opinion matters whatsoever. Our opinion doesn't matter? And there was me thinking that Southampton fans were taxpayers too....
  6. Yeah, but the pesky kids will get them cometh Admin 3
  7. If AA and Chainrai manages to pull off this 'force the club into liquidation using TBH as our Trojan Horse' ruse, does Birch automatically become the liquidator or do the courts have to appoint someone from scratch at that point? Just wonderin'...
  8. I guess that depends how favourable the repayment terms the court sets are. £1 per week spread over 3 million weeks might just be achievable for our serial wage deferring chums.
  9. If I had a pound for every 'deadline' that Birch has trotted out then duly ignored, i'd be considerably richer than all of Pompey's creditors combined...
  10. Oi! Stop stealing my conspiracy theory from three weeks ago! ;-)
  11. @pn_neil_allen: RT @Barlow31: @pn_neil_allen In the time it took to read your tweet type and post this tweet TBH earned approx £3.57 It's a shame the bestest ™ fans weren't so clued up when it came to keeping tabs on how much tax the club weren't paying and how many charities and local businesses were being ripped off. They seem to be aware of the intricacies of Pompey's financial affairs when it suits them.... Sigh.
  12. So, Birch goes for the "look at the sacrifices all the other creditors have had to endure" moral blackmail card. Would those be the same creditors who will have to sit by and watch Appy build a "competitive" squad next season and the owner trousering millions of pounds worth of parachute payments the year after? Yes, Mr Birch, we all pity the creditors....shame you backed a CVA that gave them the bare minimum so that the club stand a chance of being "competitive" next season. Unless i missed it, Carlsberg haven't started selling hypocrisy and hollow words yet have they...? And still not a peep from the PFA and Football Authorities about how shabbily their players have been treated....can someone explain the football creditors rule to me and why the football authorities fought tooth and nail to preserve it?
  13. I've just read this week's script and can confirm that is exactly what will happen. If only the scriptwriters had written that TBH statement 2 weeks ago we might now have 8 players rather than 1 standing up for what is morally theirs rather than running scared due to the unpleasant local media driven kangaroo court trials we've been witness to.
  14. So, if TBH is correct, what has Birch been doing for 6 months apart from accumulating Admin fees? That statement has AA written all over it. Sounds like a case of one administrator having a 'revenge' pop at another administrator to me.., Maybe PKF (on behalf of HMRC) had a liquidation 'agenda' all along...?
  15. Love the opening paragraph: "Having read the theatrical media reports circulating around Portsmouth recently, I feel that it is only right that I say a few words regarding my position with the club." I can't imagine who he's referring to there...
  16. @PennyMordauntMP: #newsnight someone ought to show Hughes Clegg's select cmte evidence on HoL reform. "No quid pro quo" on boundaries. Unbelievable!
  17. First person to read this without retching wins a prize... http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=442639
  18. @Tom_Overton: #Pompey have sold 7,500 season tickets. What other club in the country would sell that many in are current situation? #phenomenal
  19. This. It's disgraceful and borderline legal I would venture.
  20. Edit: oops, beaten to it
  21. Why do some people struggle to distinguish between a 'pledge' made under one set of circumstances and the reality of having to do something different under another set of circumstances?
  22. Shortly after going into administration in February, PKF re-issued the official administration notice (in the London Gazzette) to add a 3rd PKF employee to the list of joint-administrators. I assume that was to cover the 'number of officers' rule that you mention above. They obviously had a hunch all those months ago that they were going to be hanging around for a while...

  24. Cheers - lovely jubbly - sounds like I can go on holiday without fretting about it whilst away. Thanks again for the help guys
  25. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/lawrence-could-cut-deal-to-star-in-pompey-rebirth-1-4132210 One assumes the Football League are fully supportive of players not seeking protection under their beloved football creditors rule but instead bowing to intimidation to tear up their contracts.... sigh
