  10. With respect kind sir, this is a thread to be obsessed with everything Pompey related. There is nothing better for a fellow nutjob to be doing this evening than following Pompey's game via Twitter or the wireless. :-)
  11. Even if for one make-believe moment Mudie was right about the 2010 creditors, is he saying he's happy that effectively writing off a CVA shouldn't attract any kind of punishment whatsoever? Whether they 'approved' to have their money wiped out or not is a moot point. It happened. Full stop. The man sounds like a clown.
  12. @theprosam: loving the #pompey fans tonight, ben haim touches the ball "W**KER W**KER W**KER"
  13. ^ This. No infighting for best nutjob status please. We're all in this together... :-)
  14. @pn_neil_allen: Incidentally, Lawrence is suffering no adverse reaction from the fans. Kitson is in the stands watching. No sign of Dumbuya. #Pompey First time in 5 years....
  15. @solentsport: #Pompey take a 1-0 lead through Izale McLeod
  16. @solentsport: #Pompey fans booing Ben Haim, singing a song along the lines of "you're greedy, get out of our club", but with different words .... Tune in next week after he's departed whereby he'll have hero status....
  17. So, the people who got shafted for c.£130m don't get to pick who they think is most likely to pay back the measly 2p of 20p in the £1? No surprises there then... I suppose it doesn't matter who takes over especially when the figures they'll get back, if at all, are next to nothing anyway.
  18. @bigadamsport: RT @solentsport: #Pompey team bus has just arrived at Aldershot. Liam Lawrence was on it & set to play, Dave Kitson & Tal Ben Haim also both here
  19. Of course the organisers will say that to avoid opening the floodgates, but it's not the organisers that uphold the law of the land. I was referring to UK consumer law which states you are entitled to a refund for any goods or services that were either 'not as advertised' or 'not of merchantable quality'. Anyone contesting the all too obvious 'no refunds' stance taken by the retailer ought to win their case if the law of the land is adhered to. The organisers are relying on people not being clued up as far as UK consumer law is concerned, which is a fairly save bet knowing this country's population...
  20. If one was forced to make an arbitrary judgement on the 'best ever Olympian' I would look at the intensity of training required for each Olympics and divide that by the number of medals won at each games then multiply that by the number of Olympics they've taken part in. I suspect Steve Redgrave would come top of that particular pile.
  21. It's ok. They are covered by UK consumer law and as such they are legally entitled to a refund.
  22. People that want to sit on something more comfortable than a square foot of hard plastic for 2 hours? Just a hunch so please don't quote me on this.
  23. Assuming it matches Chainrai's bid, don't the creditors get to express a preference on which bid they trust the most to fulfil its obligation? Having two matching 'offers' to creditors is one thing...the desire and/or capability of honouring said offer is another thing..,(as previous Pompey creditors know full well...)
  24. I'd go with that
  25. Storrie? Redknapp? Uncle Tom Cobbley?
