I was thinking about this a lot yesterday.... As much as I liked Adkins I'm pretty convinced we'll now see a new lease of life from Gaston under MP.

Exactly. That's why we're all praising Adkins to the hilt - because he would turn a negative into a positive. And yet here we have people saying they can't bring themselves to do that. If you love Adkins (which we all do) then practice what he preached maybe...?

How should fans raect at the Everton game (and beyond)? I'll go with whatever Adkins advice would be....

It's the chap from SISA's idea I believe - the white handkerchief thing is what fans in Spain do at games if they're disgruntled about something. Apparently.

Seeing that farewell message, l must admit that I now have a small tear dripping through my pragmatism. Will miss Adkins despite being enthusiastic about the future with this new chap.

That's what I thought too when reading that....especially if Espanyol are still in financial trouble / surely they'd much rather shift him now for a fee?
