He said it MIGHT turn out to be a fantastic decision and I don't see where he's changed his view on Adkins. I was happy with Pardew. I was also happy with Adkins. I may well be happy with this new chap too. Time will tell. People have a strange view on pragmatism on here

I think the timing is odd but not a total surprise. Not sure about the new chap - will see how that pans out before casting judgement. Do you still agree with your assessment of Cortese when he sacked Pardew and brought in Adkins?

To me, the best way to 'honour' Adkins is to react in the same way that he would have done if he were us....i.e. philosophically.

I've already said the timing of the decision is "strange". It is possible to reflect on a strange decision in a pragmatic fashion. If we end up getting relegated because of this decision then I'll be first in the queue to reflect on how bad it a decision it was.
