  1. @ClaretNBlues: These people laughing at Portsmouth should be ashamed. Rivalry or not, their fans don't deserve this at all! They're decent people! #pompey
  2. Hope no one tries to rig this poll
  3. Alan Knight just on TalkSport. He gets it.... Said the cup runs and flirting with the top half of the premier league weren't worth the over spending gamble and thought that it could be considered fortunate that they only got -10 points this time around....
  4. No.2 for me

  6. This one? [video=youtube_share;NbJCBi9MVIw]
  7. Now that's amusing. Good find :-)
  8. He is going at them hammer and tongs. Highly amusing :-)
  9. Yep, just seen that. Fair play.
  10. The Football League have today 'offered' Pompey a place in the Football League, subject to the conditions being met. So, to answer the previous question someone asked, no, they haven't been given the 'golden share'....yet...
  11. His excuse is that it was as long ago as May (wow...ages ago that was...) and "things change"... No sh** Sherlock...so, knowing that things change, how about not coming out with definitive statements in the knowledge that the situation is fluid. Sigh.
  12. Research? Hmmm....now where would we find 3 years of 'research' into the Pompey Takeover Saga at this time of night. Research? Lol
  13. Erm....has he not read back through what he said in the webchat at the time?
  14. @pn_neil_allen: Glad FL put restrictions on #Pompey budgets & borrowing. Got to be better than the fools monitoring club last year. Who were they again....
  15. I was actually insinuating that Labour are more likely to get in by promising extra spending (whilst not quite singing the tax rises from the rooftops)
  16. At least we should get a much clearer choice as the next election. All 3 parties were advocating a fairly similar cuts programme last election whereas next time Labour should be promising more spending and higher taxes as an alternative to the Tories spending cuts and tax freezes.
  17. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18811472 The UK government must make deeper cuts or raise more money in the future to keep public finances in check, the Office for Budget Responsibility says. In its annual look at the government's finances, the OBR says in 2017-18 public spending needs to be cut by another £17bn or the same amount raised in taxes to stop debt ballooning.
  18. @Moose_talkSPORT: Looks like Pompey are this year's Luton Town and we all know what happened to them
  19. @GregHalford15: Another 10 points deducted! Why????? Y couldn't they have deducted 20 points last year????
  20. If only Labour hadn't started this part-privatisation of the NHS malarkey in the first place... ;-)
  21. It certainly seems like the most unfortunate timing for him. I wonder whether his agreement to terminate his contract was verbal (pun intended) or whether it's been signed and sealed already....
  22. Does anyone else have a strong hunch that the Scottish Premier League ruling re: Rangers last week gave the Football League Board less 'fear' to come down on Pompey like a tonne of bricks? It gives them the perfect ready made riposte if they are accused of being too heavy handed.
  23. Damn...I was waiting for the official nod from Lundekvam...
