Just been on the site. The 12/13 is the season years (i.e. 2012 and 2013). Saints are 7-1 to finish top half, here: http://www.skybet.com/football/premier-league/event/14173594
If that's 13-1 to finish top half I'm having a slice of that. I'm still convinced we'll finish top 8 (said the man who predicted auto promotions the last two seasons....)

"I learned a lot in Portsmouth."
Like how to survive on a fraction of his wages?
I'm convinced (in a 'just a hunch' kinda way) that Adkins will have Ward-Prowse in the starting line-up vs City. I'm getting the impression during pre-season that he's being fast tracked into the 'first 11' for this coming season.
That said, who I would drop to accomodate him I haven't a clue!

I know it's a much worn cliche, and gets a drubbing on here whenever someone dares to mention it, but when you think how far we've come in so little time there's nothing really to moan about in the general scheme of things, is there?
Indeed. And hopefully a relatively high profile (for us) signing like this will help convince any other players who we're trying to convince to join us. The likes of Michu and Zaha perhaps?
It's actually an improvement on their investigative skills over the last five years. Just think what calibre of owner they might have been able to avoid had they had the Internet at Pompey HQ a few years ago...

As a Norwich fan, I'm afraid. I'm very afraid. Southampton, Reading and West Ham are all making big statements.

Good to see a journalist that's as flabergasted as we are...
"And having left all their senior players at home in a bid to sell them and raise funds, the Portsmouth work experience scheme has continued apace, with news the club have taken on three more trialists to join the eight they already have at their Spanish training camp. Lord knows the Fiver's no financial wizard: but "Spanish training camp"?"
