  1. The iTunes chart only goes up to position no.200 when I do that....
  2. Please can you warn me to put my coffee down before asking perfectly reasonable questions about a perfectly unreasonable football club! :-)
  3. Tickets for anything in particular?
  4. Out of curiosity, where does one get hold of the chart placings (mid-week or otherwise) going down into the hundreds? cheers (I didn't think that sort of info was available to the 'general public'? Can you also tell how many have been sold?)
  5. Doesn't that entry on their website refer to their involvement last time? (as per appendix 9 in this tome: http://www.uhy-uk.com/assets/media/download/portsmouth%20reports/Six%20month%20report%20-%20final%20%28version%20for%20website%29.pdf)
  6. And then you've got people who use the word "dice" when refering to one "die".
  7. Nope. 'Rule' is also a noun :-)
  8. Rather than have a thread for every player we'll be linked with between now and August, perhaps we should have a single thread for players we aren't being linked to. That way we keep the whole speculation malarkey down to 14 posts..... :-)
  9. 1/2: @pn_neil_allen: RT @pn_Emma_Judd: Apparently there are rumours that the charges against Vladimir Antonov, former #Pompey chairman, have been dropped. 1/2: @pn_neil_allen: RT @pn_Emma_Judd: To clarify: Lithuanian prosecutors have told @portsmouthnews that charges still stand against former #pompey chairman Vladimir Antonov

  11. Yes, you are correct. Precisely the same thing happened with the definition of "Boxing Day" (i.e. over time, the definition was evolved to match common usage by dim people)
  12. Does anyone have a link to websites for budget 'motels' in Europe? I'm thinking the equivalent of Travelodge and Premier Inn in the UK. Looks like I might be driving down to Italy in the summer and we'd want to stop overnight somewhere 'functional' (i.e cheap!), either based at a motorway service station or close by a junction. Looking at a map of Europe, Lucerne in Switzerland looks about the right sort of location to stop over distance and time wise (were probably going to be based near Rome initially) Cheers (Sotonjoe....apologies for hijacking the thread somewhat here but as the subject matter was the more or less the same as my own enquiry I thought it might make more sense to lump it into one thread)

    Murty...

Wouldn't it be quicker to bump the other Murty thread covering exactly the same 'debate'?

  16. Stuffed crust?
  17. Whenever I post the first response on a thread we win 3-1
  18. Oops! Cheers :-)
  19. What did it say originally? Cheers
  20. I think this report acts as an invite to all creditors (known or otherwise) to step forward with their claims so I don't think the list of creditors is ever watertight at this juncture. That said, there's no danger of Pompey's finances ever being "watertight"....
  21. I'm ashamed to admit that question came from yours truly... :-)
  22. Nah....I never had him down as a 33 year old.... We're all in a very good mood this afternoon...what's occurring? :-)
  23. Adrian Durham (TalkSport) just read out the administrator's announcement about the possible liquidation. He obviously hasn't been made aware of the new list of creditors yet otherwise he would have gone ballistic. Then Darren Gough said "They've still got a decent stadium though". To which Durham replied: "You're joking!? It's the pits!"
  24. It's a man that wears black and officiates at football games, but that's not important right now
  25. You should know what us blokes are like when it comes to reading information that we have to go to the trouble of opening first :-)
