  1. Yep, that was the stand out phrase of the last couple of days IMO
  2. I've no idea TBH but wouldn't player contracts effectively become worthless in a 'liquidation lite' scenario?
  3. That's right Mandy. You tell 'em ;-) (I'm sure you'd have said the same if it was the hapless Tories losing a safe seat by 10,000 votes) :-)
  4. @solentsport: #pompey administrator Trevor Birch live on @BBCRadioSolent after 9am - taking questions 0845 3030961
  5. Unless the Pompey Supporters Trust takeover option is conditional on the club being liquidated and reformed first....? That would perhaps explain why Birch put the council off making a bid for the ground....one assumes the ground can be picked up more cheaply in a liquidation scenario?
  6. Nightmare
  7. @pn_neil_allen: For your answers about #Pompey fans' buy out visit http://t.co/rKj8xVKm or contact @pompeytrust or join 3pm web chat at http://t.co/8QmAx6XU
  8. So, Birch is still on 'square one' in his quest to find a buyer...?
  9. Why the **** aren't other clubs in the relegation zone kicking up a big media stink about this kind of bravado coming out of Nottarf Krap?
  10. Good to see that Labour are capitalising on this Tory 'debacle' by cleaning up at by-elections.... I take it back, the great British public aren't that stupid afterall...
  11. I think I prefer the football forum negativity that results from not winning a football game to the negativity that unfathomably arises from an upbeat financial statement. Sigh. All of which reminds me....we have a game in a little over 40 hours. Hoorah.
  12. Tony Blair? ;-)
  13. Source?
  14. If I'd known John Prescott was on the show tonight I'd have stayed in.
  15. I'm with you on this one. I'm seriously hoping that Ed Milliband wins the next election. Especially after the disappointment of Cala missing out on Pompey.
  16. It's against SWF rules and regulations to even think about bringing up what Labour did and didn't do in recent history. Dontcha know?
  17. At least the government wouldn't have been slagged off if they had kept shtum up until the unions call a strike (assuming they do).... You wouldn't have heard Ed Milliband saying "why didn't the government give people more notice? The calling of a strike only gives 7 days notice and of course people are going to panic buy on day 1" None of the above would have happened....
  18. Meanwhile, it's business as usual at Fratton Park... @solentsport: #Pompey boss Michael Appleton says he's expecting Football League to sanction an extension to Chris Maguire's loan from #DCFC til end of ssn
  19. I often use this site for this kind of thing: http://www.mouseprice.com/house-prices
  20. The key thing Rogers highlights IMO is that we are ahead of where they planned for us to be at the moment. In other words, they hadn't planned for us to be in the Premier League next season (in terms of the financial planning). Yes, we knew there was a "5 year plan" but I don't think we were ever sure whether that meant we would aim to get to the Premier League in year 3, 4 or 5.
  21. It's the experts that come on here telling the so called experts that they're not experts that I enjoy most
  22. No wonder Mr Walsh has been looking a tad strained on SSN of late....
