  1. Me? Serious? Blimey, don't remember that one. Perhaps I thought I was using my 'Verbal' login ID at the time....? Getting sloppy in my old age.... ;-)
  2. People can easily use different personas on a messageboard. I, for instance, have been using the 'ever so slightly barking' persona on here for 4 years now and I'm nothing like that in real life.....
  3. Source?

  14. Amazing what a team can achieve when they prioritise the league over the cup..... ;-)
  15. ..
  16. As long as we don't give any credence to 'him' by highlighting it on here....oh.... ;-)
  17. That takes me back. I remember those quaint nationalised british rail excuses with much fondness... ;-)
  18. Blimey. The Tories will be catching up with labour at this rate! ;-)
  19. So, what are the chances of Sky's management having set Gray and Keys up for a fall because they wanted to 'refresh' their presentation team but couldn't break them out of their contracts unless their was a disciplinery reason to do so? This is not my own personal suggestion of course, just a theory that is out there....
  20. You have my word, I will buck up shortly.... So, in summary, we're saying that 'the economy' would have been less stagnant during 4Q10 if "a.n.other" government had been in power because in the relatively short space of time between then and the last election (in 2Q10) the UK as a whole would have been more "confident" in the economy that under the current government?
  21. But I still don't have a tangible example to highlight the difference in consumer behaviour during 4Q10 depending on whether Labour or the ConDems (ho ho) were in power. I'm trying (fairly hard) to suggest that the average man (or woman) in the street would have pretty much spent the same under either regime, thus the economy would pretty much be in the same position at this relatively early stage in a five year government regardless. That said, I could be talking b*****ks (inconceivable I know)
  22. p.s. Will ITV's Loose Women programme (for example) now be taken off the air for ridiculing men....? Or is that OK because it's "ironic"...? Yours, The Voice of Reason
  23. RIP Free Speech 'Great' Britain, January 2010
