  1. But, given this is Saints....
  2. Two words in Cameron's defence: Ed. Miliband.
  3. Psssst..... He's doing what is known in the trade as 'a Scooby'. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink....say no more... ;-)
  4. Labour trotted out the same mantra regarding the "Tory's mess" for about 3 years after they came into power in 1997, so you've got a while to wait for political parity on that score I'm afraid...
  5. Not sure where to post this but this thread seemed as good as any. Anyone else realise it's British Pie Week this week? http://www.britishpieweek.co.uk/ What's your favourite pie? Steak and Guinness for me
  6. Which makes one wonder how he got in last season's League One team of the year
  7. Anyway, back on topic. A quick question if I may? Why has it moved?
  8. Indeed. I spent best part of 17 hours filling out their result predictor to the end of the season a few days ago only to discover that Saints and Plymouth play one game less than everyone else! Sort it out BBC. FFS.
  9. The same place as all the threads from the "takeover years" that mysteriously disappeared in the summer of 2009.... ;-)
  10. I've been saying for years that you human beings are a miniscule speck of insignificance in the universal scheme of things. Good to see Mr Cox reinforcing this fact on your television sets last night. Now perhaps you'll all stop taking life so bloomin' seriously all the time. FFS.
  11. It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3.
  12. Alas, I still have a bad vibe about this one......2-1 defeat :-(
  13. Who were reporting a story in the Daily Star....not sure if that makes it better or worse TBH.... ;-)
  14. Officially now in adminstration http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/plymouth_argyle/9414349.stm
  15. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1362860/AC-Milan-eyeing-Southamptons-Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain.html AC Milan are weighing up whether to join the race to sign Southampton whizkid Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Saints starlet remains a target for Arsenal after Arsene Wenger failed to sign him during the January transfer window, while Liverpool, Manchester United and City are also keen on the 17-year-old winger. And now the Italian giants are keeping an eye on Oxlade-Chamberlain, sending scouts to watch his England Under 21 debut in Italy last month, according to the Daily Star.
  16. What did he say in the programme to give that impression? Something like: "Look, Skacel never signed for us, FFS." or "At least we're not as sh1te as that sh1tty SaintsWeb Server"? Am I warm?
  17. Source? Login name? Thanks
  18. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2307032,00.html With another Tuesday game set to follow on from this weekend, Nigel will be looking to his squad once more, and with recent injury troubles, the gaffer says that there is scope to dip into the loan market if necessary. "I think that we had an excellent January transfer window in terms of strengthening our squad of players. There was great investment again from the football club, and the Chairman has gone and backed everything that we are trying to do. He is leading it from the front, he wants it more than anybody, and he is trying to do everything he can for us which is fantastic. "January was very good for us in terms of securing the players that we did, and then we spoke about the fact that a week later the loan window would open, so we are constantly looking at the options that we have available at this club. "We are well financed, but we have a strong belief about the group of players that we have got, if there is an opportunity to enhance the group then we will be able to do that. "Bringing someone in is an option available to us, if the right person becomes available..."
  19. Depends if we get promoted or not
  20. Cheers for the update Steve/Baj Any thoughts on what that Brighton fan said the other day about how their forum is run & financed. Is/was that an option considered too? Thanks again
  21. I've never understood why infractions are kept 'secret'. Transparency is a good thing, surely?
