  1. And this
  2. The voice of reason :-)
  3. What we need to consider is how does that "cost" stack up against the increased "revenue" that playing in the Championship would attract? £20k per week is obviously a lot of money in this league when looked at in isolation but as part of a bigger-picture business plan it would look more sensible if it got us to a point whereby promotion was (almost) guaranteed.
  4. He's just the sort of player I (and many others) have been suggesting for yonks that we should target. An ex-prem regular in his "mid-30s" who can command the midfield in this league. Get him on a "play as you play" deal with a win bonus and it would be good business IMHO.
  5. Not sure why a "late rush" for tickets equates to a need for cash-only sales....? Surely it's just as quick to purchase goods/services by card as it is cash these days, if not quicker? Some sort of banking embargo for 'direct/on-site sales' per chance...?
  6. No, but would love it if he did....
  7. Worried about the betting slip? Nah Worried about being on the SaintsWeb Forum at c.10pm the day after getting married? Yup ;-))

  16. I'm just back from 2 weeks holiday. Anyone care to summarise the last two weeks before I wade through the forum? Thanks.
  17. Can we also count the years/decades/centuries before that too? Bloody Romans.
  18. This. Can't think of a better tribute. And extend the negativity banishment to the whole season.
  19. I know this will make me sound like a sentimental old fool, but was out with my family whilst on holiday earlier and started to well up during our meal out whilst looking at the tribute photos on the OS. It's hitting me harder today than it was yesterday. Unbelievable what a man who I Never knew can do to one's emotions. You are a true saint Markus....in more ways than one.
  20. Just heard. Stunned and speechless. Am on holiday and just received several text messages from friends and family. Rest in peace Mr Liebherr.
  21. And eloquent too
