  1. I never understand the 'tradition' of waiting until 15 mins before changing things. Apart from last week of course! Change it now I say!

  7. What he said
  8. Tight call that one
  9. Cheers - aye, just looking at Google maps....the whole Locks Heath/Park Gate/Swanwick/Whiteley area seems prime candidate for 'dual supporter territory'. Would be interested to hear some views from people living in those areas. Is the 'rivalry' more intense in 'border' areas? Or perhaps people living there are more pragamatic about it through living in close proximity to each other all the time?
  10. Genuine 'out of interest' query....where abouts geographically is the nominal 'dividing line' between natural Saints territory and Pompey territory? I'm thinking is there a street somewhere between Southampton and Portsmouth where one side is 'Saints' and the other side is 'Pompey'...? Or is there 'no mans land' between the two? Excuse my poor grasp on south coast geography....I live furtehr north in the posh part of 'Ampshire... ;-)
  11. so those of us with the entire chris de burgh back catalogue are safe then?
  12. Q: What's the best thing a Saints fan can do to annoy and wind-up a Pompey fan? A: Tell them you don't hate Pompey. They ENJOY the hatred some of us send their way, it's what they want to hear. Keep feeding their hunger for hatred and you give them what they want. Me? I'd rather get on their tits by NOT hating them. Yours sincerely, Trousers Reverse Psychology Society
  13. How about: "congratulations for liking football for what it is - a form of entertainment - rather than getting dragged down into the inane tribalism that football engenders in a lot of people. Good for you sir" ?
  14. Sounds like he lives locally and likes watching football. Sounds like perfectly rational human behaviour to me. The words 'rocket' and 'science' spring to mind.
  15. Yep, working extra hours for 'free' is completely normal in most companies.
  16. The Eurozone countries had to reach agreement on what materials to use to produce the notes so that they were printed consistently across the EU. Hence they ended up with the only cotton based notes in the world printed with non-water proof delible ink! That's what happens when you rely on an oversized group of disparate nations to reach an agreement on something important. You end up with a massive compromse. Best leave them to it I say. Rule Brittania.
  17. what signings you thinking of phil?
  18. Try folding up and rubbing a Euro note on a blank piece of paper. Then try doing the same with a sterling note.
  19. Incorrect (ref. Oxford English Dictionary) ;-)
  20. Some of us don't wish to lower ourselves to their level. HTH
  21. It's an irrational trait that humans have built up over thousands of years. We're a strange old species.
  22. My uncle used to play for Pompey in the 60s. Funnily enough I don't hate him. It's only football.
  23. I read it that he hasn't had a dump since, and won't until we lose again. I could be wrong.
  24. I'm Jacob Mellis's wife
  25. A bit like Cortese in April.... (just jesting, obviously) So what if FF is subconsciously, or otherwise, putting himself in the shop window? Nowt wrong with that. And by posting it on here he gets some instant feedback on the idea. Everyone's a winner (babe)
