  1. Cheers. Perhaps some of the folk on here that say "we should avoid administration at all costs" could explain why they think it would be 'all bad' and why they can't see the potential positives you have outlined from other examples.
  2. Good question. No idea! Same place as SaintLee I guess....?
  3. Not sure about that but he needs to have a word with his boss pronto about investment opportunities this side of the pond. We could do with Seattle Sounds as a feeder club too...
  4. Cheers for the post. Always good to get a different perspective. Having "been there, done that, got the t-shirt" and actually seen the benefits that CAN come out of administration are you surprised that so many people on here think it would be the death of the club rather than a new beginning? I'm open minded about it but my gut feel is that we would come out of Administration stronger (long term) and not weaker.
  5. Nah....never once crossed anyone's mind on here....;)
  6. Or there's this attempt by babelfish.... "Wotte let always themselves downstairs because he usually implies of the ladies within the club for this reason he keeps up move at three matters in feyenoord" Am still none the wiser!
  7. "Wotte letting ever themselves underneath within because he with the queen keeps usually within the society therefore he keeps stir towards three transactions within feyenoord towards" Not much help....gotta love these online translators!

  15. http://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10426~1600532,00.html John Armstrong-Holmes moved today to again dismiss rumours that Notts County are in serious financial difficulty. The Magpies' chairman said he is "totally fed up" with having to react to comments and innuendo that is having such an unsettling affect at Meadow Lane. He said: "Our vice-chairman Roy Parker issued a statement last week which made it plain to supporters that there's no truth in the rumours that we are on the brink of going back into Administration but it seems some people just don't want to listen to the facts. "I have already explained that we are having the same sort of problems as virtually every other business - and football club - in this country. "For example, Southampton owe us a six-figure sum as one of the David McGoldrick transfer payments that should have been paid last month. Hopefully, we will be receiving that money in April.

  23. Time to get St David an invite onto that Paul Allen owned radio station again me thinks....MOT anyone?
  24. Perhaps it's against some LSE rule or suchlike whereby you're not allowed to sell your 'best' assets on the (relative) cheap if you're on the brink of not being a 'going concern'? Dunno. Just a guess.
  25. People quote "Thursday" as the -10 points deadline day but anyone know what time exactly on Thursday? Is it 'by Thursday' (i.e. midnight Wednesday) or 'by end of Thursday' (i.e. midnight Thursday)....or somewhere in between?
