Question.... If Fry had sold the club on, say, day 10, would he have been paid more or less than if he sells the club on, say, day 98? Logic suggests that the earlier he sells an asset the better he has been at his job but would that be reflected in his pay packet?

But putting what a media outlet said to one side, is there any proof?

I'm not happy with the use of the word "confident". What is stopping Fry saying "I am CERTAIN that a deal will conclude shortly". What is stopping him being "certain"?
