To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm trying prove. It's just an observation that Heskey seems to always be involved in some of England's most impressive wins, regardless of whether he scores or not. Could be a factor or simply coincidence.
Probably best if I stop thinking too hard.
Don't count one's chickens quite yet sir. There is usually a second wave of false hope in every such story of Saints player injury woe before the final moment of doom wipes it's feet on the doormat of inevitability.
So much so that some sad people have simply resorted to highlighting grammatical errors.

Trousers
p.s. no apostrophe needed in "book's" (sic), by the way.
Perhaps Lowe could play his "great business mind" card and do a deal with Fulham such that they loan Baird to us now for 'free' in return for getting first refusal on Lallana in January...a sort of deposit/down payment if you will....
Come on Rupert....prove to the doubters on here that you are indeed a canny businessman....
I was just about to post a link to the Daily Mail match report as the one I read in the newspaper this morning was pretty favourable to us but their on-line match report is written by someone else and is much more scathing of us.
Stating the obvious but if one newspaper can report two completely different interpretations of the same game then it cements the fact that newspaper reports are 99% blind opinion and 1% fact.
Fact.
