  1. But we all know how things pan out when Saints come into town....
  2. Yep, I tend to lean towards the view that enquiries are often ineffectual and can be used as a political tool to push any action further into the long grass. That said, if we're going to persist with enquiries (flawed as they might be) as a way of getting to the bottom of particular issues, then I don't see why they can't co-exist, in principle, if they are covering different facets.
  3. Agree that some of the criticism of Smallbone is too vitriolic. I was also critical of Smallbone last night (and Juric's decision to bring him on) but hopefully I did it in a constructive way. I still don't get what he brings to the team, especially at this level, but that applies to most of our fringe players to be fair.
  4. Shop window for ABK, or part of a reintegration programme...?
  5. Stop moaning all the time about people moaning all the time, FFS
  6. For the love of God almighty, move on man!
  7. Genuine non-partisan question: why isn't it possible to act upon the recommendation of 'enquiry A' whilst carrying out 'enquiry B', given the enquiries would be covering different aspects?
  8. "Yeah, but, no, but...."
  9. Marvelous
  10. Heart skipped a beat when I first read this headline....
  11. Forest 1 Saints 2 "Move on" tally = 7
  12. So, absolutely no difference to when the previous unmentionable geezer was in charge then...?
  13. "Russball"? Get over it FFS...!
  14. P.s. if you promise to stop making me chortle I'll cease with the laughing emojis...
  15. Yep, they loved him so much he even had his own hero-worship thread on their forum.... https://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/306819/why-smallbone-keep?page=1
  16. Note to self : add "time to move on" to the Saintsweb contrarian bingo card, whenever someone has the gall to mention Russell Martin ever again...
  17. Yep, not on 60 minutes when the subs started, but tiredness would've started to rear it's head not long after I'd venture.
  18. Given the whole bench is mediocre, the alternative was to run the starting 11 into the ground, and Juric would've then been criticised for not taking off tired players soon enough...
  19. Much better performance overall. Scoreline flattered Utd in the end. Juric learning the hard way that our subs ALWAYS make us weaker. If we play with that level of commitment and positivity for the rest of the season then I'll be content (and also annoyed at how much more competitive we could've been earlier in the season). Hope Dibling is fit for the Forest game.
  20. FFS.... Talk about a flattering scoreline....
