We'll have to agree to disagree that other factors might play a more significant part. As you know, I'm a big fan of different opinions, unlike some on here...

Lower motivation because they can see now clearly what'll be coming to them the season after? Players that know they'll be likely ditched upon promotion next time might play worse than they did when they knew that they stood a good chance of staying last time around. The game is played as much in the mind as it is physically...

At least that's one relegation spot sewn up for next season if we both get re-promoted again....
