Will pretty much be our u18s I'd imagine...?

Cheers for the 'first goalscorer' betting tip

June 2022, so less than 18 months Hmm, has all the hallmarks of ending in tears this one...

I'm from the "if they're good enough, they're old enough" school of thought.

Does it matter if we paid more?

Burnley coming up on the rails. Dark horse for a top half finish?

Think we might have to make an exception to our "no loans for players we want to keep" policy on this occasion. When does his contract expire BTW? Can't have more than 2 years left I'd have thought?

I've been, somewhat annoyingly perhaps, banging the Jankewitz drum last season and this season and touted him as a natural Hojbjerg replacement rather than going out looking for a replacement in the market place. (My 'fear' being that we should see Hojbjerg's departure as an opportunity to promote from within rather than blocking the path of someone of Jankewitz's calibre). Despite Ralph labelling Jankewitz as "the next big thing" from the academy towards the end of last season, it often baffled me why we hardly ever (never?) saw him on the bench this season up until the Shrewsbury game. Obviously we went for an external Hojbjerg replacement in the end, and Diallo looks like the bee's knees, but it's totally understandable why Jankewitz would be hacked off. It has seemed a bit one-step-forwards, two-steps-back for him so far this season. Anyway, I would view the transfer request as a positive - I'd rather have eager and disappointed younger players than those that just coast along with the flow. Hopefully Ralph sees his frustration as a positive too, rather than potentially ostracizing him...

Yep, I may have been banging on about Jankewitz's calibre for quite a while now...

Bit harsh on Corbyn that... Edit: Ah, sorry, see what you mean now

# Trousers curiosity klaxon # When did 'Whataboutery' become a bad thing? I remember the good ol' days where comparing one thing against another was a valid analytical tool. I guess the advent of social media, and the self-appointed intelligentsia therein, probably had a part to play in it becoming de rigeur?
-
Yep, but at least it gives one longer to laugh at them whilst one is waiting

Since when did Arsenal turn into an intense high pressing team? Was that just to counteract us this evening or is that how they're going to play for the rest of the season..?
-
Just in case Ward-Prowse goes for one of his trademark daisy cutters? 😂
-
Bit of a 'perfect storm' this game... - Arsenal playing at the top of their game with an intensive press that I doubt they've played all season - us missing key players (today's game highlights how important the full backs are to our system) - us having a bad day at the office overall (bit of fatigue from Saturday?) Hopefully more of a dip than a sign of things to come... #glasshalffull

"Inconsistent" probably a better word

Cocking cock bollocks
-
Diallo by the looks of it
-
Redmond on for Vokins... Que...?
-
Why don't Arsenal do this intensive level of pressing every game...? #backhandedcompliment
-
Apart from the next 15 minutes whereby we had the better of the play...?
-
P.s. can we have the old effervescent Ings back please?
