  2. About bloody time we had another woman Prime Minister. Been far too long since the last one
  3. "League One runners-up trophy, you'll never win that"

  5. We do it for different reasons and with polar opposite outcomes. They acquire sh1te players and make them even sh1ter, whilst failing to get out of Division 4 (four) in the process. We acquire half decent players and turn them into honoury Liverpudlians for tens of millions of profit whilst finishing higher in the premier league each time. Yep, almost identical...
  6. That goal vs Fulham. World class. And great ball from Lambert. Happy days.

  15. Happy with this signing. Think he'll flourish here.
  16. That assumes that humans don't alter their viewpoint as they get older.
  17. Why would the elected party carrying out an election pledge be grounds for a general election. Logically the opposite is true, isn't it? (I could argue both sides of this one by the way )
  18. So, could this be seen as a massive victory for socialism over capitalism? Labour's John Mann saying its a victory for 'working class over middle class'. Or, according to my Facebook timeline, people are saying its a victory for 'stupid' people over cleverer people. I naively assumed people on all sides would be happy with democracy. It would appear not. Most people only seem happy with democracy when the vote goes their way. Gotta love human nature
  19. Ah, Scottish accent eh? Not Ralph then.... Don't suppose there's any chance you could provide a close-up shot of your earlobes, is there?
  20. Another first timer.... welcome to the forum Ralph
