Yep, here's a bigger photo for the older folk amongst us (myself included!)

Yep, quite probably. That said, there have been surprise omissions in the past. The 2006 World Cup springs to mind as one relatively recent example.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2006/teams/england/4983618.stm

You're assuming I'm as politically minded in real life as I am in the online world....
-
This 'memory from 3 years ago' popped up on my Facebook timeline yesterday... Just goes to show how far they've progressed since those dark days....
-
There's lots of different political viewpoints in my family circle too. I know, I know. Totally bonkers. What are we like? One crazy mixed up family, that's what.

No sign of him in today's training gallery photos http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160217-training-gallery-southampton-post-swansea-2959374.aspx

I mentioned a while back on the JWP thread that he was my dark horse for getting a call up. There's usually at least 1 'wild card' pick in an England tournament squad and it wouldn't surprise me if JWP got the call. (don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting it to happen, just won't be surprised if it does, as JWP is one of the few players (to my knowledge) that Hodgson has openly mentioned when asked about young(er) players that are on his radar)

Anyone know what our players will be doing over the next 2 weeks? Training as per usual or will they get time off? I see that Leicester players have been given a full week off. Half expected the club to have arranged a few days away at a team building event in foreign climes, like we've done before when not involved in the FA cup at this stage of the season.

That's a level of history airbrushing that even Pompey would struggle to achieve

Post-Match Reaction: Swansea City 0-1 SAINTS
trousers replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I'm quite impressed with the number of bites he's got TBH. It's a 6.4 for me. (Cue "different opinions not tolerated on here", or something...) -
Lol at Clattenburg giving a penalty for that

I'd be tempted to revert to a traditional back 4 for this one in order to free up a place further up the field to enable us to accommodate Long, Austin and Mane is the same starting line up. So, something like this: Forster Cedric VvD Fonte Bertrand Clasie Davis Romeu Mane Long Austin Subs: Stek, Targett, Yoshida, JWP, Tadic, Juanmi, Pelle We can always revert to 5 at the back after we go in 2-0 up at half time
-
Yeah, nutters, the lot of them.

A quick glance at his posting history would have given you the answer...

The original football club or the new one that took over at Fratton Park a few years ago?
-
This is the crux of my original post on this thread (post #7). Until we (Joe Public) know what is true, and what isn't, about both the existing contract and the new contract, how is any layman in a position to debate what is unfair/unreasonable about the new contract? It would seem that people in general prefer to argue about headlines rather than actually delve down into the facts. As I say, I've no idea who's right or wrong, so I've no idea whether I should be joining the Jeremy Hunt witch hunt brigade or backing the government on this. Is there a factual summary of the contract somewhere online, or do we only have headlines and opinionated newspaper reports to go on?
