  1. A couple of curve balls there from Ronald. Cue forum meltdown
  2. To be fair to them, it wasn't the current club that play at Fratton Park that diddled c.£100m out of the tax man.
  3. Not interested in watching the first half then....?
  4. Forster Cedric Fonte VvD Bertrand JWP Romeu Davis Tadic Mane Austin Subs: Stek, Targett, Yoshida, Clasie, Juanmi, Pelle, Long
  5. The Maltese verdict.... It all turned when Long went off. We looked like we could hang on to the 1-0 until last 20 mins. Bit of a downer on a great long weekend on the best island in the Mediterranean bar none
  6. Get in!!!! I've just yelped out loud in a Maltese pub. Some strange looks from the locals!/ha ha
  7. Greetings from Malta. The locals are very impressed with us (I stopped them switching over to the Leicester game at kick off!)
  8. Yes! Found a pub in Malta showing the game. COYR!!
  9. I'm currently in Valletta, Malta. Anyone know any bars that will be showing premier league football today? The locals are giving me some strange looks when I ask about somewhere to watch the Southampton game. Long shot but cheers!

Jay Rodriguez ‏@JayRodriguez9 Buzzing to be back in full training. Getting closer to comeback! #WeMarchOn
  12. Adam Tungatt ‏@adachops #BarnetFC had 2557 fans at the game and 1330 were us #pompey fans. And they beat us. Wow . #tinpot They don't appear to be clever enough to realise what this means in reality.... the mighty Portsmouth are themselves so tinpot and irrelevant these days that even Barnet fans are ambivalent to turning up to watch them. #tinpotest
  13. Talking of the SNP, I believe this represents their viewpoint...
  14. You sound like Alex Salmond c. 2 years ago...
  15. I'm still undecided on which way to vote and there's a likelihood that won't change between now and polling day. However, I'm not undecided because I haven't given it enough thought - On the contrary - my state of indecision is possibly more as a result of giving it 'too much' thought. In that I see a fairly balanced set of pros and cons with either eventuality. So, what should I do on polling day? Abstain, because that is the best reflection of my 'balanced' view, or should I choose one option for the sake of choosing an option? Sometimes its not easy being a pragmatist...
  16. I can imagine the bilge that Allen & co will spew out if/when they end up in a Wembley playoff final. It would give rise to a worldwide facepalm shortage, that's for sure
  17. Yep, agree with all that. However, I think Mr Bateman makes a reasonable underlying point. i.e. what harm would it do to schedule the game at the outset for the Sunday regardless? The only reason I can think for not going for such a common sense approach is that Sky want as few non-TV games on the Sunday as possible in order to maximise their viewer numbers. What over reason could there be? P.s. As an aside, I'm actually quite surprised it wasn't selected for Sunday broadcast by Sky anyway
  18. And, to complete the set, one from Gardos... Florin Gardoș ‏@floringardos5 Early morning commute through the dessert camels for company @styles_bill @JayRodriguez9
