If anything what he actually said reinforces it even more. He was due to travel on Thursday and then decided his head wasn't right. That is unprofessional, he is under contract at Saints for the next 2 years. Adkins said it will be dealt with in house (maybe that means a fine), and I doubt he will be at Saints in February.

Which game? The commentators said he did against Tranmere at St Mary's, but they are wrong as he only had one assist in that game. Danny Butterfield set up the 1st goal in that game.

Assists are a bit of a nonsense to use, as it is just the final pass. Lallana is heavily involved in the build up for a lot of Saints goals and not necessarily putting in the the final pass. Not all chances are of equal difficulty, some are more clear cut than others. We should still be beating teams like Tranmere with or without Lallana.

Some fans have paid £55 each to watch this game (including the Carlisle game). They won't be happy if Pulis trots out onto the pitch.
