  1. Mute Sky News and listen to this whilst watching the pictures... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6g6uLWwEy7Q&feature=relatedLets Go Lets Go! You even get a miner count 0 out of 33 miners saved in the top left hand corner on Sky News HD. Rupert Murdoch's empire is so tasteless!
  2. I think even Wotton must know he isn't good enough to play in a Nigel Adkins short quick passing team.
  3. Who voted to bring back Wotton?
  4. Ryan is on the bench tonight in Switzerland, so not just there to make up the numbers in the 20+ squad.
  5. Interview with Morgan on French FA website. http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fff.fr%2Fselections%2Fespoirs%2Factualite%2F535183.shtml Brief report of tonight's game, including a goal from Morgan Schneiderlin. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fff.fr%2Fselections%2Fespoirs%2Factualite%2F535277.shtml
  6. Very unlikely as it needs a huge number of results to go Saints way. More likely a win would take Saints to about 8th or 9th.
  7. This is the key phrase in that report and is basically journalist speak for "I don't have a ****ing clue but will write it anyway".
  8. They didn't release one officially. It was only in other media, which all guessed what was happening, with no quotes from the club.
  9. He is actually joint 4th in the top scorers list.
  10. No they didn't.
  11. Because he has left.
  12. I'm sure he is fully aware of that i.e. Saints are in the 3rd tier. The corporate sales side will only fill up when the team progresses up through the leagues towards the top flight and the more attractive fixtures become a regular occurrence at St Mary's once more. Games against Tranmere, Oldham, Dagenham & Redbridge aren't attractive to the corporates.
  13. Cortese did mention the possibility of a new stadium in an interview with the BBC earlier in March 2010. Listen here from 36 minutes onwards... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/8565161.stm
  14. You have put a lot of words into his mouth there that he didn't say.
  15. Can I have that in writing from the Football League please?
  16. I agree with all of that.
  17. Same at pretty much every stadium in the world.
  18. Rumour from where?
  19. It is clearly wrong. Tranmere hardly touched the ball.
  20. I don't see how they could make it any more obvious! They have been swapping sides of the pitch in pretty much every game for 10 months. It is quite noticeable.
  21. They have been doing that regularly for the last 10 months since Puncheon joined in January.
  22. Nope, it was a 442. Adkins even said it was in his post match interview. A 442 rarely ever sees two strikers both on the last defender, Guly was still however playing as a striker alongside Lambert. The 451 of last season that people keep harping on about involved a midfielder (Wotton) sitting and barely moving from in front of the centre backs, with Hammond and Schneiderlin in front.
  23. You must have been watching a different game to me.
