  1. He will be "different" in FM11.
  2. Looking at the hidden values for current ability and potential ability rating out of 200 in the database editor gives a clue as to how good they are and will be.
  3. He is ****. That is all you need to know.
  4. This happens quite a lot when discussions are ongoing for a sale. I wonder how "injured" he really is? http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10308~2100215,00.html
  5. Here is just one of many real world examples... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Everton-using-Football-Manager-computer-game-article33798.html Yes, it is using scouts that are fans of the clubs. In some ways it can be better, I see more Saints game than any club scout. But it must be the largest scouting network in the world and as an initial scouting tool I think is worth using. Obviously you follow it up by sending an actual scout to view the player.
  6. Some fans of other clubs base their views of Saints players they might buy on what they are like on FM. For example a Colchester fan deciding if Lloyd James is any good. So basically using my view to formulate an opinion.
  7. What relevance is how Saints got on 2, 5, 10 or 20 years ago have to how the two will get on next season?
  8. A team of the combined squads would be heavily weighted towards Saints. Weds have money problems and been signing free transfers. (I'm not saying they are bad players for League One btw they clearly aren't and Wednesday should get a top 3 finish) Saints for the last 12 months have been signing players for large amounts of cash. If Saints wanted any of the players Weds signed this summer they would have out bid them. Yes, spending cash doesn't guarantee success, but it helps to get it.
  9. ...and wouldn't even make it into our starting XI If he were still at Saints he'd be 3rd choice right back.
  10. Sheff Weds have little in the way of money hence why they haven't signed anyone other than free transfers. Yes, they are some good players at this level, but if Saints wanted any these players signed this summer they have the resources to outbid Wednesday. Your first choice right back next season is a player deemed not good enough for Saints or Norwich in the last 7 months.

  12. It is not another rumour, it is a copy and paste job of the original.
  13. After earning 83 points last season with a squad that only properly took shape after the January transfer window, I'd be disappointed if Saints only got in the 80's again in 2010/11.
  14. Because no two injuries are exactly the same.
  15. A trialist that has an illegible twitter account. He has played in the Saints XI games.
  16. They can only get another points deduction if they exit administration without a CVA. The outcome of the HMRC appeal can itself be appealed by the losing party, be it HMRC or Pompey, dragging it out further. As I understand it, if they finally lose the appeal it will either end in a new CVA being made and presented to creditors, or HMRC/administrator may press ahead for the liquidation of the company.
  17. Yes, there is. They have gone on a massive recruitment drive in the summer with a host of jobs in youth coaching, youth scouting, youth fitness and conditioning and youth medical team. What did you expect to see?
  18. Not really because the starting line up for the Farnborough game only contain probably two players (Butterfield and Barnard or Connolly) that will be in the XI that play Plymouth on 7th August. This game is not a full first team friendly. It is a mix of youth(look at the bench) and fringe players.
  19. I really don't see how you can forget about renewing a season ticket. It is quite obvious you buy new season tickets in the summer. You also commit a significant part of 23 days of your life to a season ticket. Unlike for example a subscription for Sky which could expire at any point during the year and thus quite easy to forget when it expires.
  20. I'm more concerned about David Bick. He looks like a mafia hitman with those sunglasses. btw who gets interviewed wearing sunglasses ffs
  21. I said "under 40%". 10% is under 40%.
  22. Poor docker-p You do realise red and white stripes will return next year don't you? Also red and white stripes, black shorts and white socks have been worn for under 40% of Saints history and not the... ...you claim!
  23. Not whilst under a transfer embargo from the Football League they don't.
  24. Five days ago the Sonko loan deal was announced, yet still not confirmed as going through. This may suggest the Football League aren't happy with it and the embargo remains in place, despite deliberately lowering the playing squad below 20 players. I don't think it is a work permit problem as he was brought up in France and probably has a French passport, plus has lived in Britain for 8 years.
