Football Manager 2011 **Demo Out Now**

Have it at £1.4m then, you still have £13,000 per week wages to play with. Or 900k transfer budget with £23k wages to play with. Which is loads in League One! Plus you can offload some of the crap in the squad to free up wages. Remember season one budgets in FM are skewed because the clubs have already spent their budgets for the summer in real life. -

Select win the league as a board expectation Goto boardroom > click edit budgets > you can slide it all the way up to £1.9m Yes, it does impact on the wage budget(which is realistic), but still makes it possible to spend a lot more. -

The finances are there, you can have a £1.9m transfer budget for Saints on day one if you want. Guly costs half that! -

If there is a player you really want but is outside your budget you can ask the board to do the deal for you. So not as rigid as you think... -

Who, apart from those at the top of the club really know what that is? We are all guessing. -

He is rated as one of the better right backs in League One. In any case he was rated by the Charlton researcher. Again, one of the highest rated keepers in League One. Also coach/assistant manager reports aren't always accurate, especially if they haven't been at the club very long and thus don't know the players or have low judging ability & potential ratings.
-
Maybe you're right...but in my defence... I just use the previous years thread as a template so doesn't take that long really.
-
What formation would you be using for that?
-
Saints still have a lot of money relative to the League and Cortese has a very high rating for resources available to him. The club no longer have sugar daddy ticked however. Staplewood is not "very good" at present. Hence why they have plans to improve the facilities in real life. Remember this 1-20 is on a world scale. See post 28.

That is its intention. But also for Saints fans to highlight any data issues t help improve the game. Thus I have listed a lot of the data and you can point out places where changes need to be made to help improve the game for all Saints fans playing FM. He isn't the most poplar person (people are largely negative about him on these forums) for the way he acted whilst at Saints. IMO he was a very good player but came to Saints with a lot of baggage. These things are of course subjective and I will consider your point. The transfer budget is flexible. Plus you can now ask the board to do the transfer for you.

Bailey isn't real, he is a newgen. Everyone will have him on their game as the demo is a "quickstart", which basically is a savegame and everyone has the same savegame. -

My tips for success with Southampton Ask the board for a parent club and you might get a top Premier League team to loan some youngsters from. Due to the big money backing from a billionaire's estate, spend the money very wisely to keep in the chairman good books as he doesn't have much patience. Make full use of the strong youth set up at the club Make Guly Do Prado's loan permanent in January if you can. Try to loan quality young players from the Premiership and upper Championship clubs in problem positions. Make a 4 year plan for a promotion push back to the Premiership.

Youngsters to watch! Alex Chamberlain son of former England international Mark Chamberlain is a big prospect as an attacking midfielder. Nuture his talents well and he will make the right midfield birth his own. Striker Ryan Doble has already been called up to the full Wales squad despite not having played for Saints but looks a good prospect. Alex Chamberlain Ryan Doble

Strikers League One top scorer two years running Rickie Lambert would be the obvious choice for the strikers role. Partnering Lambert you have a choice of Lee Barnard and Irish international David Connolly. Rickie Lambert Lee Barnard
