  1. Attacking Midfielders Adam Lallana broke into the first team and the end of 2007/08 season and has this season made the left sided midfield spot his own. A naturally gifted player he has excellent technique both in distributing the ball and running at defenders. Jason Puncheon signed in January from Plymouth Argyle is the regular right sided midfielder. Brazilian Guly Do Prado on loan from Cesena provides competition both here and for the strikers. Adam Lallana Jason Puncheon
  2. Central Midfielders French youth international Morgan Schneiderlin is comfortable on the ball and he likes to sit in front of the defense and break out quickly. Former Colchester captain Dean Hammond covers every blade of grass to break down opposition attacks. Cover comes in the form of Oscar Gobern and experienced former Plymouth Argyle captain Paul Wotton. Morgan Schneiderlin Dean Hammond
  3. Centre Backs First choice is January £1m signing from Crystal Palace Jose Fonte. Battling to be Fonte's defensive partner are the experienced Radhi Jaidi, January signing from Exeter Danny Seaborne and young Aaron Martin who signed last season from neighbours Eastleigh. Jose Fonte Radhi Jaidi
  4. Left Backs Dan Harding is the current incumbent of this postion in the Southampton side. Summer signing from Brentford Ryan Dickson provides Harding with some stiff competition. Dan Harding Ryan Dickson
  5. Right Backs Initially Danny Butterfield will be your right back due to fellow new £450k signing Frazer Richardson dislocating his shoulder in pre season and being out for the first few months. Frazer Richardson Danny Butterfield
  6. Goalkeepers Current number one keeper is Kelvin Davis with two young keepers; Polish under 21 international Bartosz Bialkowski and Tommy Forecast battling it out for the number two spot. Kelvin Davis Bartosz Bialkowski

  11. Southampton F.C. Guide - Football Manager 2011 This was last year... Are you ready for this year?... [video=youtube;eJYUbw1-c0A] Find out in Football Manager 2011 Use this thread to discuss your Football Manager savegames with Southampton!
  12. Just to warn you. Chaplow and Bignall won't be at Saints as they are emergency loans, which FM never includes.
  13. Why have you made this up? The club have said no such thing!
  14. Good stuff. That is fast!
  15. Completely free 6 month demo of FM11. All features are available so is just like playing the full game. I recommend getting the strawberry version, will take longer to download but is a lot better visually. Hope you enjoy... http://www.footballmanager.com/demo ........................................................................ What are the minimum specs for running the Football Manager 2010 demo on my system? PC OS - Windows XP/Vista/Windows7 Processor - XP - 1.4ghz or faster Vista/W7 - 2.0hgz or faster Memory - XP-512MB Ram, Vista/W7 - 1GB Ram Video Card - 128MB minimum. Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 or greater; Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater. Earlier cards may only display 2D Match Viewer Mode and are not supported. Mac Intel Processor, OS X 10.5, NVidia Geforce 7300 GT or greater What’s the difference between the Strawberry and Vanilla Demos? The Strawberry demo contains all the sounds, player pictures and logos within the game. Because of this additional content the file is larger and will take longer to download. The Vanilla demo is a stripped down version of the game, which runs exactly the same but is just a smaller download file. What leagues can I run via the Demo? In the demo you can only run 'quick start' games, which only run one league and a small database. The demos include the following: Vanilla English language England and Scotland quickstarts Strawberry All Euro Languages England, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina, Chile quickstarts
  16. Don't know the time yet. I'll make a demo thread when it comes out which will link to the file and discussion of the demo.
  17. Yes that could be true. But my point was that the article doesn't confirm the thread is true.
  18. Doesn't confirm it. Opening post says Saints "have offered" and the Daily Mail says Saints are "ready to offer". The Daily Mail article was also online 10 hours before this thread was started!
  19. All loans between 1st September and the November loan deadline are called emergency loans. For example Chaplow and Bignall are emergency loans.
  20. Yes, he was. He retired from the professional game three years ago but still does the odd game. Probably fits them in when he can and gets money for it so suits him. Or maybe Saints have signed him as the clubs own referee...
  21. Why have you included Newcastle and QPR in the "in with" section?
  22. I bet Pardew applies for the job.
  23. The demo is out on Thursday (strawberry version* via steam) and Friday (strawberry* & vanilla version** via torrent or direct download) * stawberry version is a bigger file but come with all the nice extra's like player photo, club badges, team kits etc etc ** vanilla version doesn't have any of the licensed graphics.
  24. Where is he going? (innocent until proven guilty!)
