Charlton lost 1-0 to Barnet a few days ago, so will be interesting to see the views of those on here that think results in preseason matter. (they don't btw )
-
But why does the same not apply for every other Premier League club? Why is Pompey's fee twice that of Man Utd's? I wonder which is larger, Pompey's merchandise revenue or Pompey's image rights fees? AA will find it hard to explain away if it is the latter.
-
Not exactly the most trust worthy of sources... A Saints fan on another forum told by a Sheff Weds fan that a Forest player has signed for Saints.
-
Is he really that clueless that he can't see that Pompey has image rights payments over twice that of Man Utd or any other clubs. How can Pompey player's image rights be more than Rooney, Ferdinand etc? It was blatantly done so they could save money and offer players higher wages supplemented by image rights. Thus build a squad for the Premier League and win the FA Cup that they couldn't otherwise attract on what their wage budget should have been.

I honestly didn't see FM10 as particularly buggy. I know you don't like this but...more bugs are noticed and fixed quicker once a game is released compared to in house testing. If your idea was used and FM10 was kept in development until Feb 2010, it would be less playable than patch 10.3 also released in Feb 2010. Do you not agree?
-
What do you think they actually do over the course of the development cycle and what do you think they should do instead?

Never a problem for my Mac.

Have they not noticed on Saints player there are interviews with 13 different back-room members of staff? They ALL namecheck Cortese and how say great a job he has done and it all comes over as being led into it by the questioning and that they HAVE to mention him. The HR Officer is clearly glancing at a script throughout and it is not a natural interview. Those interviewed include... HR Officer Senior Ticket Officer External Communications advisor Sales marketing executive Sous chef Under 21 coach Strength and conditioning coach Sales manager Club secretary Academy manager Halo sales manager First team physio Groundsman The External Communications advisor David Bick, admits it his his role to get over to Saints fans the changes at the club in the media. It seems this involves saying how great Cortese is. I do think Cortese is doing a good job, but these interviews are basically "pro Cortese" propaganda more than anything else!

Name some games that have a development cycle of one game release every 12 months? Most games are in production for a lot longer than 12 months, so to fit development and QA in 12 months the way they do is impressive I think. SI employ a large number of internal and external testers for a relatively small development studio. SEGA also have their own QA team for the game.

It was announced weeks ago. Going to be in September.

Name a game that doesn't have bugs? Name some bugs that made FM10 unplayable without a patch?
-
Thats just online stores giving a date so they can get pre-orders.
-
Is that actually an offense?
-
There has been no release date confirmed. Nor any confirmation of what the game will include. Most years it is out in Oct/Nov so expect similar.

I think both HMRC and Pompey can appeal the appeal if either of them lose, dragging it out beyond 3rd August.

Cortese waiting for new Premier League squad size rule to kick in?
Matthew Le God replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
This rule won't actually cause a problem to most clubs. Very few clubs have more than 25 players over the age of 21. On top of the 25 you can have as many under 21 as you want. -
If Saints were still a mid table Premier League team I would agree with you. However Saints are in League One and a 30 year old Darius Vassell would be very good in this League.
-
Saints never had him properly in order to let him go. I think he left before 16 and went to Swindon.
-
I agree Euell wasn't great for Saints. But to be fair to him he didn't often play as a central striker, more often than not he was in midfield. So to analyze his goal record in a struggling team is harsh.
-
Still no guarantee they will complete the 2010/11 season if the court case goes against them.

He is Blackpool's captain. So I'd guess he'll play a bit.
