Use are misunderstanding what an "emergency loan" is... An "emergency loan" is ANY loan between early September and 3rd Thursday in November when the loan window shuts and again from early February until 3rd Thursday in March. Richard Chaplow, Nicholas Bignall, Anthony Pulis, Jack Saville, Paul Wotton have all been emergency loans in/out for Saints so far this season.

Have Saints made public how much they will spend in this 5 year plan? No If it looks like the club will start spending again then the transfer window data update will reflect it. Until I have more evidence it won't change. Saints start the game in July 2010 with £6m in the bank, which I think is quite a lot for a League One side! In the patches for FM10 I made Saints have a sugar daddy, which just made managing Saints far too easy and not a challenge at all. A more conservative approach is now the best course of action imo.

There are still times when free transfers can't be signed. These windows close when the emergency loan market closes.

The S****horpe chairman said none of his players will be following Adkins anytime soon... -
Did you not notice the transfer window is shut and no club can buy anyone? Even the loan window is soon to close (I think next Thursday).

Andy Robinson is the under 18 captain. As with the rest of the subs, the format used shows that the trialist started the game and was replaced by Andy Robinson, Joe Curtis started and was replaced by Callum Chambers and Jordace Holder-Spooner started and was replaced by Jake Sinclair.

Only mention of him is at the bottom of this article... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2223524,00.html Leftback may be able to enlighten us...

None of us know what Saints are planning, for all we know they may have replacement(s) lined up already, may be using a change of system etc etc so to comment on this is a little premature. Puncheon hasn't been anywhere near as effective as Chamberlain, he is on a large wage and would not be happy sitting on the bench. He hasn't played much part in a Saints team for the last 4 games. Even without Puncheon - Lallana, Holmes, Guly Do Prado, Dickson, Chamberlain and even some of the development and under 18 team wingers should be adequate until January and if not, the emergency loan window is still open!

Why does noise level determine how "good" a fan is? -
Problem is, you obviously do have contacts and once you have been shown to post the line up more than once, people believe you whenever you do so in the future. I think it is in the best interests of the club if you don't post any more team news in the build up to games. I know you didn't post them for any other reason than letting us know, but if other teams do catch on that Saints tactics/formation are available before the game it makes it easier for them to adjust their own tactics/personnel to counter what Saints might do. For example if they know Lambert isn't playing they may not play the hulking centre half and use someone else.

All loans between 1st September and the November loan deadline are classed as "emergency loans". Chaplow, Bignall, Puncheon, Pulis, Saville, Wotton etc etc are all emergency loans.
-
Or Saints requested that he only play one half. After all, no other player in the England under 18 squad is in his team's first XI.
-
He is the only player in the squad anywhere near his team's first XI. Being a League One player helps of course.
-
Not every Saints fan would be aware of its existence. This may help raise awareness and may possibly lead to more donations.
-
If he had signed on a permanent deal the Football League would know. They however don't and it is a loan deal. It was announced as a loan with "view to buy", should it go well and all parties are happy. That means the fee has been pre-arranged, but at the moment he is not a Saints player. Clubs can't just make these things up, the football governing bodies register loans and transfers.

Well if you have -£4m, they aren't going to give you any more chances to increase the debt. Would end up like Pompey!
-
Good thing you aren't the manger then.

You'd struggle to have a decent view of what was going on from row A in one of the corners. -

My season ticket is in the Kingsland, the equivalent seat in the Itchen is in the directors box. -
You are lucky to still have a job to be fair! If you have been spending lots previously they won't have much left to let you spend. Can you not make any changing with the edit budget button in the boardroom?
-
It would make it easier if the other team didn't know which players they were up against. If it becomes well known that someone is regularly and reliably announcing the Saints team every week it won't help the team. Nigel Adkins is always very coy about giving anything away in press conferences for that very reason.

It will be alot more than 500, Saints sold 500 and ask for another 500 tickets. So will be close to 1,000, which is impressive for a 660 mile round trip in the 3rd tier. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~2204261,00.html
