  1. Stu, are you related to Alanis Morrestte? That isn't at all ironic.
  2. Did you not try getting support from somewhere like here? http://help.sega.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=view&parentcategoryid=333&pcid=6&nav=0,6 I certainly wouldn't throw a game in the bin that I just spent money on, when the game comes with support from the publishers.
  3. Shock! Horror! The Daily Echo... 1) Doesn't know what the word ironic means... "Ironically, for a number of years and until recently, the Daily Echo gave the Club’s management free photographs of away matches for use on the Club’s website, to avoid the Club having to pay for expensive away photographic coverage. It was the Club’s management that brought this generous arrangement to a close." That isn't ironic ffs, did they actually do journalism degrees? 2) Thinks what Saints are doing is "unprecedented" even though Celtic and Bristol Rovers have done it before. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8324655.Daily_Echo_comment_on_Southampton_FC_photographs/

  5. What exactly would they need to do for you not to think that? The list of new features announced today is only a tiny number of the changes in FM11. - Player and board conversations - Dynamic league reputations - Improved training - Real time contract negotiations - Football agents - Improvements to the 3D graphics and improvements to the underlying match engine Are all big changes. There are many other features yet to be announced.
  6. SWOS version 1.1 given free to all people that brought the original (if you sent the original floppy disc back to them) shows your claim of a bug free SWOS was wrong. Maybe in the 16 or so years since you played SWOS you have a romanticized version in your head of what it was like. Every game has bugs and the more complicated a game is, with more variables, the more likely it is that they will get through the testing process.
  7. If it had no bugs why did they release SWOS version 1.1 in April 1995 to fix bugs?
  8. Yes it did, hence why they sent you a free update version in the years before widespread internet.
  9. More screenshots and feature information here - http://footballmanager.com/index.php?p_page_ss=1&p=games
  10. Pompey put a roof on the away end with their seven years of Premier League money.
  11. Well done Morgan! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2118241,00.html
  12. Attendance - 17,135 Biggest attendance of the League Cup 1st round. Even remains the biggest of the round if you take away the 4,068 Bournemouth fans as the next biggest in the League Cup was 13k at Norwich vs Gillingham(and that 13k includes Gillingham fans). And yet Bournemouth have cheek to mock a lack of Saints fans! Well done Saints fans
  13. SI and SEGA FM11 - ??? FM10 - 30th October FM09 - 14th November FM08 - 18th October FM07 - 18th October FM06 - 21st October FM05 - 4th November SI and Eidos CM03/04 - 21st November CM4 - 28th March CM01/02 - 12th October CM00/01 - 27th October
  14. Is that what was being sung at Stevenage last night?
  15. Why have you ignored... - Discounted travel is available to supporters travelling to league games from the Isle of Wight. - Online programs so Saints fans around the world can read the program each matchday - Setting up a Charity Foundation - Having a family funday to launch the new kit All these from just the last two months, there have been many others. You certainly have been cherry-picking Mr Dune!
  16. Skip to 35 seconds... Any ideas for an alternative version to sing back to them should Saints be beating them at their Cup Final? Or would that show we actually care?
  17. AFC Bournemouth were promoted on 24th April 2010. Saints played Carlise United at St Mary's on the 24th April 2010. When the PA system announced after the Carlisle game that Bournemouth had gone up, pretty much the whole of St Mary's cheered and gave a round of applause. Halftime and fulltime results for Bournemouth are also greeted well when read out at St Mary's. You don't see that for any other "derbies". Where as Bournemouth fans did this...
  18. The last train is at 9.29PM
  19. Does the phrase "All publicity is good publicity", not apply in this case?
  20. Since when has any of this meant "no press coverage"? Saints match photos still exist, highlights on BBC TV/website and Sky TV/website. How many match action shots have non-cropped hoardings showing clearly the full name of the sponsor? How many shots per season would a League One team get in the national press? Most weeks League One coverage is a brief paragraph without a photo and if there is a photo it is rare for it to show any non cropped logos.
  21. No, they aren't. They are speculating what the reasons are.
  22. Saints had more than that for a pre season friendly this summer. Bournemouth have sold 4,000 themselves. Yet you think only 4,000 Saints fans will turn up for a competitive game against a local team when prices are also much cheaper?
  23. Are you saying 14k in the first round of the League Cup is not a good crowd? It is a huge crowd compared to all the other games that will be played.
  24. It was the case 8 years or so ago. Now-a-days Staplewood is extremely dated and well behind a large number of Premier League and Championship training grounds. If Cortese/Liebherr really want to establish Saints as a top flight team again, then Staplewood has to be improved significantly.
  25. Have you forgotten that Blackpool will be playing Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Man City this season and Saints are playing Rochdale, Dag & Redbridge, Hartlepool, Exeter and Yeovil?
