  1. Schneiderlin and Puncheon definitely did. Pictures and videos of them in full training on the OS.
  2. On what grounds?
  3. "Pompey's administrators immediately asked the court for £230,000 costs from the taxman." I don't see how they have the nerve to do that. £230k vs £24 million
  4. Well the thread is called "Pompey Takeover Saga" and they still haven't been taken over yet! Nor has the CVA finished and it won't until 2014. They have to keep up with payments or they will return back to court.
  5. Thats the end of it pretty much. Apart from if they fail to meet the terms of the CVA in the next 4 years.
  6. You'd think he would be there.
  7. I don't see how people can vote yes as both parties have said they will take it to the Court of Appeal on Friday if they lose.
  8. It doesn't matter if they stayed up or went down they would have been entitled to that money. The problem is they got it early.
  9. They wouldn't be gone for ever if liquidation happened. The fans will start a phoenix club in non league and relatively quickly shoot up through the leagues. Any phoenix club would still be in everyones eyes "Pompey" and Saints would have a rivalry with them.
  10. Getting desperate...? Painting doomsday scenario's isn't the best legal argument I would think to impress a high court judge.
  11. So they have had £14m of parachute money already and still have roughly £22m of outstanding football debt which the Football authorities plan to withhold so they can pay it off. Leaves Pompey with only £12m of parachute payments over the next 4 years of the proposed CVA. Did it say that in the CVA? I don't think so....
  12. If ever a thread might turn libelous, it is this one.
  13. Well that is a huge error on their part then. You would think HMRC would pick up on such a major point.
  14. They don't seem to like my disguise as... Arcadi Lowe
  15. The CVA went out in May before the changes to parachute payments to raise them to £48m were confirmed in June. However at the time of the CVA it was known it was likely to happen. I don't know how this was reflected in the CVA.
  16. Has Mr Sheldon forgotten which side he is on? How does this help his case?
  17. Took them a while to get to, but they have now brought this to the courts attention... BBC's Dan Roan on Twitter
  18. That c-nut with the bell.
  19. Not really, because there are still horses in the stable.
  20. Just about to start. One hour long.
  21. BBC Radio Solent have their Pompey Fans Forum at 7:05pm tonight. David Lampitt is attending, it has been a long stressful day for him! Listen here...http://www.bbc.co.uk/solent/programmes
  22. If they stay in admin they won't get a points deduction. They get a points deduction if they exit admin without a CVA. It isn't comparable to Saints situation at all.
  23. People see he signed in August 2008 on a two year deal and wrongly I think thought this meant from August to August. It is standard in England for player contracts to run until 30th June. When they say its a two year deal they mean August 2008 to June 2010. I think he has signed a year extension for some reason I can't fathom.
  24. I don't think a Sports journalist from the News of the World is the best judge of the way a High Court insolvency appeal case is going.
  25. The Wimbledon judgement is interesting as the reason given by the judge for HMRC losing in that case doesn't apply to Pompey.
