Hasenhüttl is not the only manager in world football to play a high press in a 4222, 343 or 352 system. Whenever he leaves Saints, the playbook used throughout the club can still continue if another manager with a similar philosophy replaces him.

What makes you think not? Since Matt Crocker has come in we've been having more hits in the transfer market.

Last year it was announced on 4th June... https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-06-04/southampton-football-club-2021-retained-list-released-players

Not really, he isn't the only manager in the world to play a 4222, 343 or 352 high press.
-
I think you will find I said I'd like Saints to have a new manager. Also puzzling why you think Pompey would be in any love triangle!
-
At least I understand the difference between your and you're. 🙄
-
Why would the owners of a large company be the ones doing the sacking? That is for the HR department and/or Matt Crocker as director of football to deal with. Can you name some examples of managers on £6m per year being demoted to assistant manager? Talk us through how the club could pull that one off!
-
Can you provide a link to these clear noises from the club of 12-15 players leaving? Do you mean 12 to 15 senior players? Because every season every PL club releases lots of youth players in the under 23s and under 18s whose contracts are expiring.
-
You think Jack Stephens hasn't improved since the age of 17? Sure Redmond is no Mane, but to claim he hasn't improved since the day he joined in 2016 is nonsense.
-
You missed the point completely as you did not read it in the context of what it was replying to and instead took my post in isolation. The post it was replying to stated Danny Rohl was the "only one taking care of the tactical side". So I asked what explains the 12 month spell of superb form after he left.
-
What happened in 2020 then? Saints over that calender year had the 6th highest points total in the PL. Danny Rohl was not at the club for any of it.

Saints already have mascots...

SaintsExtra does not claim to be a source. He copies and pastes Tweet rumours from media oulets & journalists and even names where he got it from.
-
Sell on % clauses are pretty standard in transfers, so Saints could be on the receiving end of a payday if he does leave this summer...
-
Don't believe everything you read!
-
As I've created hundreds of thousands of entries in the FM database over the last 15 years there is more of my opinion about Saints publicly available than probably any other person in history!

1) The Dutch league isn't really a top European league. 2) Across all competitions isn't a great gauge. Not difficult to get a hatful vs a League Two or non league team in the Cup and inflate your tally 3) How have you determined the liklihood of Romeu departing this summer?
-
He was linked a few days ago, in a report that made no sense.

Michael Henke is 65 years old, so it isn't really much of a long term succession plan. More likely to be retiring soon rather than an up and coming talent being groomed to take over.
-
Broja and Livramento didn't need senior English experience to be very effective. Why do we need a 15 goal striker? Only 5 teams had a 15 goal player in the PL this season! Why do we need 'two horrible midfielders'?
-
Why does Sam Wallace think the owners of a company with hundreds of employees need to be present to let someone go? That does not happen in many other industries. If the Telegraph sacked Sam Wallace, would he expect that a meeting with the owners of the paper would take place? 🤔
-
Idiot
-
That isn't true.

Why are you using a comparison with playing a centre back out of position?
