Eriksen improves Brentford over his six month contract Livramento will improve Saints probably for 3-4 years, plus hold a great deal of value if sold

And they don't have him contracted beyond the 6 months. Where as Saints stayed up and still have Livramento on a long term deal (and holds a lot of valueif/when they sell).

I'd say signing Livramento on a long term deal for £5m is better than having Eriksen for 6 months.
