  1. Happened at 5pm Video has been on Saints Player all that time.
  2. Saints only have two kits red/white and yellow/blue. MK Dons play in White. Saints of course will be in yellow/blue.
  3. JPT games only have 5 subs.
  4. Are we going to clone Lloyd James?
  5. Who said he was injured?
  6. Hard to argue with anything in post 26.
  7. From post 86 onwards in this thread the discussion has been about the Mirror story.
  8. When you say elsewhere, are you talking about the discussion that precedes your post?
  9. Both of them are cup tied.
  10. Points of note - Saga still at the club to dispel rumours on this forum - you can see him in the video of training this morning - Barnard has interested the Pardew and has "crossed our path, sorry for the cloudy answer" - 1 or 2 more players to possibly come in before end of window - Harding and Lallana are doubts for the game.
  11. They play in completely different positions and are not comparable. Both are very good Championship players. Saints are in League One. Both would be an amazing signings for a League One side.
  12. West Ham even after the takeover still have debts of £110 million. These aren't as urgent to be paid as Pompey's, however West Ham still have larger debts.
  13. I can't see that happening. Next person to take them over will be after administration when they'd be much cheaper.
  14. Because he was the cheap option and Rupert Lowe was cheap.
  15. Help us like the Echo again and get your editor to make a Saints version. Could contact the Exeter one and use it as a direct template.
  16. Where is Football Manager 2011 on that list?
  17. No...not by buying another player. But by making their own version of a superb website and internet show. It is hosted by the matchday announcer and the website is impressive aswell. Exeter's site has sponsorship from Domino's Pizza and brings in money that way and Saints larger fan base could see alot of hits. http://www.kellowsbootlaces.co.uk/ Imagine that site and show but for Saints. Use the show DVD archive to see them preview the Saints vs Exeter game on the 21st Dec show and on the 28th the show comes from St Mary's. I'd love Cortese to commission something similar.
  18. Reporter didn't put any words in his mouth. Pardew said he is interested in Stock and that Saints and Doncaster's valuations of Stock are still some way apart. I think Stock will be at Saints by the end of the window. O'Driscoll has said that no-one has talked to him about Stock and that the press should talk to him or Pardew, not realising that Pardew had at that point already given an interview to the BBC. It would seem O'Driscoll is either lying or the talking has gone on above his head without his knowledge. Are you going to retract the opening post now?
  19. Pardew has publicly expressed his interest in Stock in a live BBC Radio Solent interview. It is not a random rumour.
  20. What a strange question... Jose Fonte was signed from Championship club Crystal Palace. Championship sides are not in the JPT. So of course he can't be cup tied!
  21. Like every club the fanbase is a cross section of society. There are plenty of fans at every club that would have done the same as the good people in this story. There are also plenty of fans across the country that wouldn't have lifted a finger(Saints fans included). To say you wouldn't expect anything else from a person just because he by stroke of luck/coincidence has chosen to support the same team as you is a little naive! Nice story and well done to those that did help though!
  22. The South/South West one has too many teams to make it worthwhile. Will be the same in the other regions. Rarely will they do anything on Saints. I don't care about Torquay or Exeter etc. They should have made more shows across the country with fewer teams in each. Aldershot Bournemouth Brighton Bristol City Bristol Rovers Cheltenham Exeter Plymouth Reading Southampton Swindon Torquay Wycombe Yeovil Was far too diluted with so many teams over a vast geographical area to make it worth while or of interest.
  23. Bale got 5 goals in 40 league games for Saints in his only season for Saints 2006/07. 4 out of the 5 were free kicks. Free kicks against Derby, Coventry, Hull and Norwich. Open play goal against Sunderland. He also got very close to scoring with many other free kicks.
  24. Go on Saints player and you can hear the interview with BBC Radio Solent for yourself. Pardew clearly states a bid has been made for Stock.
  25. Saints have EARNT the points for 7th place ffs (before Saturday it was 6th) TBH that is still disappointing in some respects, but it is far from as bleak as you have made out.
