  1. Giving Palace -10 points won't help them or punish those responsible(they leave the day of admin like Lowe did at Saints). It may lead to them getting relegated possibly and harder to make money in League One and start a vicious circle meaning more problems in the future. Well done Lord Malwhinney!
  2. I doubt any chairman of another team would trust Pompey with an installment deal with an impeding winding up order and past history.
  3. They are basing that on nothing more than the fact he has been for the past few games. The Echo doesn't have a clue who will be on the bench as they are banned from the training ground.
  4. Whether it is on ITV or not, there is NO chance it will be anything other than a midday kickoff on police orders.
  5. Will just mean that they can now sell players and replace them with cheaper ones. Kaboul and Belhadj can be sold and they will loan in a cheap replacement to keep the numbers up.
  6. It's not good value for you... You may as well have not paid with a post ratio like that. You can post up to 3 per day for free, yet you paid £5 for 0.39 posts per day!
  7. Even if Weston Saint does have more information than the rest of us, it is likely it is only from one side and therefore biased.
  8. He'll go to a lower Premiership club.

  10. I'd imagine talks with the police are holding it up. The 4th round TV games were sorted out and announced by 10:30am on the Tuesday after the 3rd round.
  11. Good point.
  12. Do you think the story about the charity is a good piece? Using a charity for the sympathy vote is pathetic. I'm sure the Echo was fully aware it wouldn't be welcome yet turned up anyway with the sole aim of using it against the club's management. Why didn't the Echo inform the Charity and Mr Suchet that they were banned from club premises before the event? Writing pieces like this will just annoy the club more. How did anyone in your office think this would help things? The editors comments at the end saying that Saints coverage has improved since the ban is laughable. How can being prevented from having inside information and access to press conferences etc improve the quality? Now most Saints coverage is just relaying stories from the BBC and other media outlets or transcribing interviews on Saints Player and the Saints OS.
  13. Cortese has said nothing on the matter. How do you know what has happened? All we have seen is the Echo's comment and side of things. You can't make a judgement on that. The Echo would have known the club wouldn't let them in so I'm sure it wasn't a surprise and they are used using this in a pathetic attempt to get sympathy which will just sour relations further.
  14. I think his point is that Mutch plays in the same position as Stock and could be seen as his replacement if he leaves for Saints. He could also just be Gillet's replacement.
  15. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4871629.Saints_chiefs____ruined____our_charity_event/ A truly shocking article and the editors comment is laughable. Printing articles like this will only make the feud worse. Using a charity to get the sympathy vote ffs I'm sure the Echo already knew they wouldn't be allowed in!
  16. The Echo only rehashed the story from BBC Radio Solent.
  17. They really don't. The Echo sells a lot of papers because of Saints stories. Saints don't sell many tickets because of the Echo.
  18. How do you know they haven't been speaking? In fact how do you know anything about what happened? You don't!
  19. I can't see into the future for the 5th round but here is the 4th round. ITV have the rights so either the ITV website http://www.itv.com/sport/football/news/facup/matchreports/report-southampton-v-ipswich-514526873.html or Saints Player for extended highlights
  20. I think it works well to outline my point in its current state.
  21. Hitler to buy Hartlepool!? Pol Pot to buy Plymouth!? Stalin to buy Shrewsbury!? Gaddafi (jnr) to buy Portsmouth!? Those seem unlikely? Ok, three of them are dead but the last one may be about to happen! http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Dictator-Gaddafi-s-son-in-talks-to-become-Portsmouth-owner-article300941.html So from Milan "Taxman" Mandaric to Gaydamak and his father's gun running to an Arab with no money in charge for 40 days to an Arab with no money that no-one can prove exists to "potentially" the son of a Dictator of an Axis of Evil country in the space of 6 months! "If" he is using any of his Dad's cash is that fit and proper? Hicks & Gillett, the Glazer family and Rupert Lowe are all teddy bears compared to Portsmouth's last 5 owners! Rupert never had something like this in the family closet... or funding the IRA with guns and explosives. At least it would mean the FA Cup game vs Saints on February 14th would go ahead if it stops the High Court proceedings on February 10th. BUT that pales into insignificance if the money is coming from his Dad and the horrors of his past. How does he have enough money unless something is coming from his Dad? I can't see Pompey having a Scottish tour and a pre-season friendly in Dumfries and Galloway anytime soon! Nor to Ireland where Libya provided the IRA with guns and explosives.
  22. I find it hard to believe and will be shocked if the FA let it through.

  24. I'm surprised they even bothered with Lambert on that list. Saints don't need to sell for money and he can't be sold until the summer anyway.
  25. lets try to get to z)
